OK…. moon, the thread title refers to “chatter’s personalities”. The apostrophe indicates that the personality belongs to a chatter. If there were many chatters the apostrophe would be after the s.. eg chatters’ personalities.
So, did he mean one chatter or lots of them, if lots of them he put the apostrophe in the wrong place!!!!
Nothing to do with him mentioning three people. Did you not go to school?
*I shall now get verbal grief for being a snidey snippy know it all* :P
5 April, 2012 at 5:10 pm #492934I’m more or less the same wherever I am posting or chatting. I guess it’s who is doing the reading that counts in this scenario. People have a tendency to put their own spin on anything, even the most harmless of posts.

Well, I haven’t voted because it matters not, one way or the other, to me.
One thing about this thread has tickled me pink though.
*hugs catmanblue*
Thatle be you then mims, sly britches. You were in there evry night anyways.
As most of the people who use Pats also use this site, the whole Vote thing is immaterial. Thats why I haven’t voted, because it really doesn’t matter. The more things change the more they stay the same.
4 April, 2012 at 7:40 pm #492742I think most people have a guilty little secret or two, how boring if we didn’t.

Well, I am not on any high moral ground, but I would never read PM’s. And, I was a message board monitor, still am I think, and I never even bothered to find out how! What people say to each other in private…. is just that.. private.
For the owner/moderator of a site to look at member’s private messages is just wrong. It shows lack of respect if nothing else, and if they wanted to show them to each other and have a laugh at others’ expense, then that is just down right nasty. And it doesn’t matter if most people knew they did it, that doesn’t make it right.
And… i may be on a high horse here, but I agree with what others have said on this matter. It is just about simple decency and respect. If the owners of a site, people like fast, can’t respect his regulars, then he should seriously think about the reasons he wants to run a site in the first place. And that respect also extends to letting people know that he is closing it down and keeping people informed instead of as lucky put it.. bolting.
I don’t give a flying donut what reasons he had for closing down the site like that, and I don’t know if he just closed it down so he could alter the look of it or the name, it doesn’t really matter. He did what he did and a few people seem upset at the manner in which he did it.
Mims! I take it you wont be posting on PATS CHAT when it opens again?
I didn’t say that :) I shall carry on posting where I feel like it. I always knew I had to be careful what I put on Pats Cupboard as it would very likely be read by someone who didn’t exactly have my best interests at heart, so nothing has changed as far as I am concerned.

4 April, 2012 at 5:00 pm #492591Well, I was told by someone who should know that people were reading PMs on that other there site. And making notes about people for some unexplicable reason! Nowt as queer as folks. Just because some moderators like Sunny were squeaky clean with high morals doesn’t mean that applies to everyone else on that site.
But, then if you know what is going on, you just watch what you say.
I have been a member of this site for ages and ages, in fact I don’t think i’ve logged out in years, so god knows what my password is! I used both sites, will continue to use this site and any others I choose to. Why do some people think its unacceptable to use more than one message board or chat room? Variety is the spice of life.
3 April, 2012 at 10:04 pm #492503I don’t think its famous…. more infamous.
3 April, 2012 at 10:01 pm #492501You seem to know a lot about said dullards to feel the need to start a thread about them.
