There is so much in a name cosy…without seeing the person we all have a mental picture of people based on their name… both here and in the real world.

I think I have told the story of FemmeNikita here before an extremely popular woman in the backgammon site I used to play at… she scared me to death as she wielded such power over the guys at the site and she slapped you down if you didn’t agree with her.I was scared to disagree as her cronies backed her up if you did.

Anyway when there was a live tournament and I met her…. she was so different to my mental picture.. made me laugh at myself really but the Internet is so powerful and people can be whatever they want to be based on a name.

Im into names right now as my daughters baby is due soon…..we don’t know if its a boy or girl… some names are favourite but its a secret :D

I think links on the news are often insensitive… I cant think of an actual example right now but things like someone dies in a fire then the next story is a skateboarding dog or something equally as frivolous.

I usually go into Harrogate for coffee… it makes me smile when I see tourists queueing at the famous Betty’s Cafe and Starbucks …..the best coffee in Harrogate is a few strides further up the road

I always fancied living like that Panda… Brigitte Bardot style just me and my adoring animals…… then I remembered I dislike mucking out horses and having to take dogs for a walk in all weathers……(well my hair goes curly in the rain :? )….. cats are OK… they sort of look after themselves but more than three and the place smells a bit….so I have decided to keep hubby… at least he can fend for himself if he has to :D
