Cath, the Railway Cat poem you posted made me smile. When my kids were little they just loved TS Eliot’s Old Possums Book of Practical Cats and there was always the obligatory poem to be read to them at bedtime. To this day they still put little quotes from it in Christmas cards Birthday cards etc… the last one was as follows:-
I know a Cat, who makes a habit
Of eating nothing else but rabbit,
And when he’s finished, licks his paws
So’s not to waste the onion sauce.Taken from THE AD-DRESSING OF CATS which has to be one of my favourites. My absolute favourite is Macavity the mystery cat… just a little snippet for you here :
Macavity, Macavity, there’s no one like Macavity,
For he’s a fiend in feline shape, a monster of depravity.
You may meet him in a by-street, you may see him in the square–
But when a crime’s discovered, then Macavity’s not there!Ha! Love it!

Sorry but no, this whole thing is not because anyone broke any confidences, it’s because you misinterpreted Kenty’s post and assumed that I had broken a confidence – which I hadn’t.

This is my last words on this… its nothing to do with kent not in the least and you know it… Jen… you asked me for information, even James became of no consequence you wanted me to talk about a person here… I refused so instead of walking away, you got personal telling me I was not who I said I was and used different names. I, as is my usualin real life decided to leave, it just wasn’t worth the effort. However when I came in just to read the boards and saw that Ruby was also saying totally ridiculous things about me I decided to stand my corner.
You wanted information .. you didnt get it and got personal…. this is what the whole thing is about….. not kent or anyone else and certainly not all smoke screens you have put up… end of!

Mrs T , have just read your post on the getting serious thread, and i want to say this.
On these boards, sometimes things can get taken out of context , as i know to my cost when i first posted something on the getting serious thread.
However….. we all here , at some point, have a gripe about another poster, doing the ‘ she said this, I said that’ bit… you have made it cear that you don’t like Jen Jen. I signed off my posts with Julie or Julia… not really different names…. I did not ask about a personal relationship with anyone not in the way you are suggesting which I have to say is so low!
You insisted on knowing things about a person in chat that I was not happy to tell you I tried to divert your attention from the whole thing, I asked repeatedly for you to forget it and for us not to be silly about such a little thing. You repeatedly insisted on information then you suggested I was not who I said I was…..because I signed Julie and Julia….next thing I have Ruby calling me names too…telling me I’m a fake just as you did…
gosh I promised myself I would never do this Jen.. I would not in real life so why am I doing it here…. I prefer not to continue,,, and as I said to you repeatedly when I was trying to placate you in PM can we just let this drop now?

You are not a nice person Jen, I know people think you are and I am relatively new here so I will be hated for saying these things, but you are not nice. You use people and you twist words you have no feelings for the person you are discrediting. I remember Andy Mcnab saying mean things about you, I almost stepped in to defend you, how daft am I. Ok that’s it for me…
