Hey, I make that look good!
Guess there’s no point in going into London if no one’s coming. I’ll stay home and take care of business then.
Have a pretend meet in JC, you can still dress up :P

Glad you enjoyed it Mrs T…I know it’s had great reviews and it up for many oscars (I think), but it doesn’t look like my cup of tea. Unfortunately I am one of those kind that doesn’t like the look of somthing just won’t give it a go. That goes for food too.

I have been watching the awful scenes in Cairo on the TV, riots that are said to be inspired by the recent ones in Tunisia too. I always thought that Egypt was a stable country although I have to admit I’m not that well informed.
One thing has stuck me though and that’s the part that the Internet, facebook and Twitter in particular have played in co-ordinating the demonstrators so much so that the Egyptian government have blocked the net all together in their country.
How powerful the net is, I mean never has there been such a tool available to all of us, its scary really, here we all are sat in our living rooms able to talk to the whole world. It can be used for good and evil, one thing for sure it inhibits governments from totally controlling the news agenda, but is that always a good thing? Three people were killed in the riots today. Very sad

Would I emigrate? Probably not. Some 20 years ago we went over to Canada to check it out and decide wether we would like to live there as Mr Kent’s family is out there. We didn’t like it enough to change our lifes direction. We could also live the life of Riley in India should we wish. We have the most beautiful house out there and have at least 3 people including a chauffeur working for us when we are out there, but even that full time doesn’t appeal to me, even though I would love to retire, I would find it really difficult to adapt living there too.
I probably would like to have a retreat somewhere quiet, not so commercialised where life is very simple to go to when I need to. Not sure I would like to move out of Kent to be honest :lol:I liked Canada too Kent… had the kids been smaller I might have made the decision to live there, there is a lot in what others have said here though, the grass isn’t always greener
