    Groanup is right, common sense…….and I think that lots of us have been using the internet for a while now and should know about privacy settings etc. Especially if our better halves are experts. Also Mrs T….if there was evidence it is a certain person hacking etc that is against the law….the police would probably deal with it. Accusing someone of somthing does not mean it happened.

    I dont use a FB account, it was just an observation.

    Yes I agree A.groanup, however maybe JC should intervene on their own behalf? Its not good publicity for them if they have predators just waiting for a less streetwise user to drop their guard.

    Maybe just a message to inform these predators that their actions are being monitored?

    What I dont understand about this is why if its known that FB accounts have been hacked and people here are concerned that someone from JC is using the site as a vehicle to access accounts why cant JC give a warning to that user?

    Surely now they know the user name they can identify the person and possibly other names they use here. They dont have to name and shame they could just message them and tell them they are aware of whats happening. it would stop if they did that.

    Surely JC have a responsibility to protect users where they can, just a thought.
