Patrick Duffy who played Bobby Ewing has said of Larry… the very first meeting together on the set of Dallas they shook hands and he knew they would be best friends for life,,, which they were.

He went on to say it was one of the things that persuaded him about previous lives (he is a Buddhist)…. and he said he knows they will meet again in lives to come…… gosh made me cry

I love learning how different people deal with situations.

If you knew someone had stolen groceries to feed their children would you report them?

Depends…. were they wearing a Rolex at the time? :D Or going home to play the latest video game….. I would like to think if they were really poor I would pay for the food myself….. difficult one this as the shopkeeper isn’t a charity either what would you do?….

These foster carers haven’t suddenly become different people overnight… the people they are today are the people they were yesterday or the day before when the children were placed with them.

So it takes an anonymous phone call for them to suddenly be unsuitable? Im sorry I dont get it… truly if today they are not suitable but yesterday they were… who is selecting child placements? …. and shouldn’t we be focusing on their ineptitude?…OK these carers are members of a political party… but that’s because of their beliefs and values…. surely that’s what is focused on in the selection process when recruiting people to do the job?

Perhaps they kept their membership of UKIP secret or joined after they were selected as suitable foster parents.

that’s the point I was making… they joined a political party because of their beliefs and values…. those same values will have been evident during the selection process….. but they are only unacceptable when they are linked to membership of a political party?…. makes no sense to me?

Starting to sound like McCarthyism… bit extreme I know…. but think about it

I dont agree with much in this article…. have to say looking around, women are ageing a lot better than men these days…. Think of women like LuLu aged 62, Goldie Hawn 67 and Carol Vorderman aged 53…. Ive selected them as examples but really they are not unusual… there is no need to look like our grannies nowadays… and its acceptable for women to take advantage of modern cosmetics and techniques to keep them young looking.

Its about time men followed suit…beer bellies and comb overs are a real turn off…….watch that waistline fellas…. and use moisturiser…..

    Hello Mrs Teapot

Oh im still about but not much for online activities nowadays.

Im working and reading and really should be picking up my guitar as i got to grade 8 standard on the classical, just seems such a waste.

Im looking in to buying a moped as my cars been scrapped, would like to do 25 mph in a 40 just to hold up the traffic.

Still devising racing systems as my long term aim is to retire and buy a vw camper and tour round the uk.

My cousin has a narrowboat but im not quite sure where he is at the moment. He set sail from Burnley marina (didnt know they had one) heading towards Leeds, so he might be somewhere in the midlands at the moment. If i catch up with him i will jump aboard for a few weeks. x

Ah……lovely to hear from you certy… a narrow boat you say …sounds fun :) I remember once hiring one for a family holiday…. we broke down two days into the holiday so phoned the boatyard for help….. it took them half an hour to find us. :D you cant rush in a narrow boat… or cover much ground :D I’ll look out for a man with a bucket and a ladder on a moped….. :D

Before a couple can become foster parents they have to go through a rigorous selection process… they obviously did that,,, and were accepted.

They have fostered many kids over the years one of whom they had for 4 years…. when Social Services received an anonymous call about the couples political persuasions…why didn’t they judge purely on the development and happiness of the children? they do regular reports dont they?….

The couples records state them as exemplary foster parents and that the children were doing well ….. it was stated the baby was thriving and the other two were happy…. politics should have been secondary here….. the only thing that mattered was the well being of the kids…. the result is the siblings are now split up…. the very worst and most traumatic result for them….. such a shame

    Excellent post Mrs T. =D>

I’m non political as far as this case is concerned Terry…. that doesn’t mean I am sympathetic to UKIP or its policies.
