Aw Gull, you got it in for me now? You want to calm that temper of yours.

Wordsworth, I find you a very articulate poster and if I came across and a ‘knob’ I apologise. I wasn’t talking about Mr Waterman personally, I was talking in general. Women do, many times, cause men to lose their temper, and whether or not it is right, men will retaliate. It may be repulsive, which is not defendable, but sometimes, just sometimes, these women really do deserve a punch. My ex wife once told me she deliberately got me angry in order to get a reaction. I didn’t punch her however, I just told her to get out of the room and proceeded to rip it apart. Women are not stupid, they know what they are doing.
Children cause their fathers’s to lose their temper as well. Is it okay for the father to lose it and hit the children?
Men, woman and children who resort to violence whatever the provocation need help.
13 May, 2012 at 7:05 pm #496459I was wondering @ what age does this child need to reach before it is considered sex abuse.

Errrm….. whats going on here… looks like fantasy land… lets stick to the facts OK
He admits he beat her three or four times and that he used his fists…. when asked why he said because he could not win a verbal argument with her….BTW the police were involved when she came to after being knocked unconscious she rang the police… she decided not to press charges but she did leave him after that beating and subsequently divorced him. There has never been any inference that she was violent to him.
Its amazing even when the guy admits he did it… you are still looking for ways to blame the woman….. what chance do battered women have… unbelievable!
Yes, that’s my understanding of it.

You’ve lost it.
No, I think you have.
And as for a woman coming at you with a knife, well you probably deserved.

Whatever.
Panda it is all very well doing the Women’s lib bit but you cannot have your cake and eat it. If someone comes at you with a knife (happened to me), would you care what sex they are? To me I defend myself. If someone hits you, male or female do you stand by and say ‘hey it’s a woman I’ll let her off’? Sometimes women, as much as men deserve what they get. And the fucking woman’s card will not work!
This thread isn’t about you.

Not denying that fact panda merely saying sometimes people can be pushed beyond the limit of all reason, and didnt know the story behind this, was he a regular wife beater, did it happen once what caused it etc ?
He’s been married 4 times and admits to hitting wife no. 3 as she was strong and intelligent and he couldn’t win an arguement against her, or get a word in edgewise.
Now if she had thumped him, or physically attacked him then I could understand to an extent.
yeah but did she thump him ? or didnt they say ?
I don’t believe so. It wasn’t mentioned in the article I read.
