The Black Players’ Association is an organisation we should all unite against and protest about. Its supporters are racist and its ideals are totally unacceptable. We don’t agree with the BNP nor should we agree with or support this group of bigots.
I er actually agree.
I see Ian’s point above but!
However, no group should exclude another based on race or gender (and probably various other variables as well.)
Would Theo Walcott be able to join the The Black Players’ Association?
After all, he’s like me – brown skinned with a white mother and a black father – so ironically, is Rio Ferdinand (although his involvement in this as a key player hasn’t been confirmed) so would he be allowed to join as well?
Perhaps bald footballers will set up The Association of Bald Footballers to highlight their physical differences.
How about the Association of players with a 10″ penis..?
LOL – they’d just be dickheads! :P

In a word – no. I don’t want to generalise, but the police do tend to employ idiots.
I agree.
I got pulled over by the police once. They asked me to step out the car.
I did. They told me I was driving with my front fog lamps on.
I pointed to the front of my car and politely informed them I do not have any front fog lamps.
The fat cop said I’d best be on my way else he’d find something wrong with my car.
I went, but had to laugh as they had failed to notice the front headlamp was out.
Doh!

panda i agree with what you say totally……..but with all the abuse there is i can understand why this could happen
I see what you’re saying but surely if black, white, brown and asian footballes had one, all encompassing association it would show a united stand?
Segregation is not the key – it is divisive and shows impressionable, young black footballers that they are racially “different.”
I suppose it could be seen as “positive segregation” but it is segregation nonetheless and IMHO, that does nothing for good race relations.
*breaks soapbox up and puts it on the fire :D
23 October, 2012 at 3:30 pm #513198Terry is many things and I don’t always see eye to eye with him but he’s certainly not a racist.

OK I’m struggling with something here…how can someone deliberately use racially offensive language with the intention to provoke, antogonise or belittle yet not be considered a racist?
I see where you’re coming from. On a scale of 1 to 10 though, with 10 being the highest, I wouldn’t class John Terry as a high ranking, hard core racist. He’s probably a number 2 – in more ways than one.
23 October, 2012 at 12:11 pm #508050Good news!
The cull has been delayed until next Summer so there is time to get this ridiculous decision overturned completely.
Thank you for all those that signed the petition.
22 October, 2012 at 9:04 pm #513189This is interesting:
Jasna Badzak:
A former UKIP staffer and parliamentary candidate at the last general election claims to be writing a book revealing dodgy goings-on at the core of the party – having branded her defection from the Conservatives “the biggest mistake of my life“.Jasna Badzak defected to UKIP in 2008, along with a swathe of Tories from Westminster, and stood in the Westminster North constituency in the 2010 elections. She then worked for six months as a press officer in the London office of MEP Gerard Batten.
In a series of messages on Twitter, Badzak has claimed that she will be making revelations about the alleged racism and corruption of top UKIP figures.
