So it should be brushed under the carpet like it was throughout his life?
It wasn’t just teenage girls, he liked the young nurses too (allegedly) and several of the nurses at Stoke Mandeville dreaded his visits to the hospital.
And you’re happy to believe all this even though he was never charged let alone convicted of any sex crime?
And it’s ok by you that the accused is dead and cannot defend himself?
I hope you never get to do jury service.
I’ve done jury service twice.
I agree with Jen.
There is already a stack of evidence against him and even he couldn’t have fixed this one.
Quite rightly, the law in this land states innocent until proven guilty after a fair trial but the guy is dead and therefore he won’t get a fair, posthumous trial.
Sorry, but I don’t believe in the character assassination of the dead.
These woman had ample time to bring their allegations to the attention of the police whilst he was alive.
They chose not to.
1 October, 2012 at 1:05 am #511763No I didn’t have laser treatment. I’m long sighted and got headaches a lot.
I haven’t needed to wear glasses in over a year since my monitors got changed at work.
The worse thing was an optician telling me to wear specs for driving! I managed a 100 yards and had to take them off!

£247 is about the norm if you choose a half decent frame, wear variofocals and have the anti-scratch coating…the last time I went to Specsavers and they offered me the 2 for 1 deal I said I didn’t need 2 pairs, could they just do the one pair at half price please? This seemed to confuse them for some reason…
…and my specs are blue and green like your siggy…I got them from the optician, I didn’t steal them, honest!
£247 ???
I’m glad I don’t need specs anymore.
