No fear of rejection becuse deep down i knew she was not what I wanted, I am the oppersite of her then behaviour, it would never have worked out..I am convinced of that.
Why bother telling her i wrote the poem? simple..did not want to upset her fragile but chaotic state ..but…maybe one day when we are old and gray I might just tell her over a coffee at the old people home…
Looking back I was myself not settled in my ways and was forever on the hunt for the next err..experience.
Dont think I dont know women..I was married for 24 years…before that ended…yes..we are still friends if your wondering about the ex.

LOL..I used to sell booze to an italian in Osnabrück, he and his family had a few pizza places..did not make a fortune but for few a few years never paid for my meals and that of my friends in their places.
1991 was a bit after my time in the Army..so i guess I would not know them, but I know a lot of ex pats in and around Osnabrück.
I am a member of the Freemasons lodge in Osnabrück and there a lot of members from around that time.

I work for the Army as a facilitys manager. Been in and around Osnabrück for a long time.
