I think Carrick is totally overrated too – but he’s probaby one of the better young midfield players – which doesn’t say a lot for our chances in the Euro Championship
Look at Sissoko yesterday – ran the show in midfield – against supposedly one of the best teams in the world !!
Everyone can have games like that…Alan Smith ran the midfield for Man United when we beat Chelsea 1-0, and he’s not even a midfielder..So it doesn’t really say much to be honest with you :wink:
If you are saying Carrick is overrated, because of how much he cost, then I agree, but everyone is overrated if they cost that much or more..But him as a footballer, then he is miles underrated, not overrated.

I’ve just looked back through the thread..And you, my friend, is wrong..There is anti comments as such in this thread, nearly all the way through it.

My post had nothing to do with the world cup…I used the world cup as an example. The anti English, anti Scottish comments are still happening, and things are still being said in here, with Murray being the subject…It could be said that some of the English in here are jealous because he is Scottish….You seem to accuse the Scottish of being jealous of us..It works on both sides…I ain’t sticking up for the Scottish, because they are just as bad.
