Depression can be horrific if you’re suffering from it clinically; tactics like cbt (cognitive behavioural therapy – not as good as it cracks itself up to be in my opinon) can be used, but I spoke to a practitioner once and she told me that she didn’t like dealing with depressives because the despair was so difficult to deal with; it was like trying to reach into a deep pit to pull someone up a little only to see them fall back again. Depressives tend to go to bed very very early to sleep their lies away.

Clinical anxiety is the opposite of depression usually; not usual for someone to be such a victim that they have both.

However, most of us have down-times now and again, and need to get out of them. It’s a question of getting back into the saddle. Jim Morrison of The Doors in LA Woman sang ‘I’ve been so down so very damned long, that I guess it’s up to me’. Maybe that’s what Camel-Who-Speaks-for-Thin was getting at. She was very dismissive of sufferers, but maybe that was because she needed to be dismissive of ehr own sufferng in order not to fall into that slough?? Speculation – only she and her real mates know.

Misery seeks its own company. If you’re feeling down, then shrug your shoulders and look at the world in order to avoid seeking that company. You might surprise yourself. xxx

something happened to me 10 years ago.. 2 things in fact. That would make a human being freak.self pitying misery ?? by gosh I wish it was. Good thing is bout depression,, the depressive will get better. the doubters will always be CVNTS :)

Is that your little dig at me ruby? I did say I understand the difference between feeling down and being depressed, real clinical depression is an illness…going for a walk will not cure it.

    Gosh you’re a strange one!

You play the innocent when it suits then you turn on a sixpence!

It was fairly obvious from your post that you have an understanding of depression and it’s fairly obvious Camel Blue doesn’t.

Are you speaking to me or Ruby?

ffs pand can you , from now on state who you mean as i am getting the blme of this.. dont mean to interfere and all that. but ffs.. paranoia lives.
