Do Arsnic play any Englishman?
At the mo we got Wollcott (spl?) coming through surely to the first team soon. We lost Ashley Cole after bringing him through (Judas). And we were most famous for our back four in defence in recent years (and midfield) who were all English. That was at a time when all teams had a lot more foreigners than we had.
Club football is on a different par to country/international. Its a lucrative business.
Henry’s stall on signing a new contract was about a clause for youngsters coming through. Arsenal gave him what he wanted.

She combs her hair
She’s like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colorsShe comes in colors ev’rywhere;
She combs her hair
She’s like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colorsHave you seen her dressed in blue?
See the sky in front of you
And her face is lik a sail
Speck of white so fair and pale
Have you seen a lady fairer?She comes in colors ev’rywhere;
She combs her hair
She’s like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colorsHave you seen her all in gold?
Like a queen in days of old
She shoots her colors all around
Like a sunset going down
Have you seen a lady fairer?She comes in colors ev’rywhere;
She combs her hair
She’s like a rainbow
Coming, colors in the air
Oh, everywhere
She comes in colorsShe’s like a rainbow

1 February, 2007 at 12:28 am #258230It was lung cancer what killed him. Who knows………… probably. Either that, or just the fact nobody is immune to it. I dont care what anybody says. Everything kills nowadays.
I really and truelly believe there is feck all you can do about the date and fate of your death so you may as well enjoy life. Its too short to worry about prolonging it……… whatever you do will not affect the fact that you will die one day, whether it be a heart attack in your 50’s playing table tennis (like an uncle of mine) or a heroin overdose at 18 (another uncle of mine), or murdered at 26 (another uncle of mine).
So, as you see, I understand quite deeply the meaning of loss of life.
The latter two of the above you could argue there may have been avoidance of their deaths.
But…… we aint bleeding told when these things are gonna happen are we, so whats the point in worrying about it?!
