ONE advert does not make a majority, of any description, outcasts (unless you wear blinkers like Bushy)- however you finally make the relevant point, This has EVERYTHING to do with the incompetents who put this advert together (which is worth a challenge under RRA section 37) and nothing to do with normal British citizens of any colour
If you take a single piece of evidence and use it to stereotype a group then scousers are drunken, theiving, illiterate, racists

Is it just one advert? I think you may find this happened more than just once. And I never said ‘one’ advert makes a ‘majority’ what I did say was that the majority of British people are ‘white’ – which is true, and only a minority are not white – which is also true!
YES- there will be other incompetent HR pink and fluffy nobodies out there who think that adverts like this promote a good image of a multi racial society when in fact it does the opposite. If 1% of adverts are ridiculous for being pompous, illegal nonsense- to blow that up as if it’s the “norm” shows a lack of any coherent argument and statements you make about whites being “second class citizens” simply isn’t true- it isnt the case and I could list a thousand reasons when you arent treated any differently than anyone else- in fact I am treated better and with more benefits (the perks not the cash type benefits) as a parent than anything to do with me being white or black or any other colour…but not many complain about that!
Completely agree Pebbles- it is the best man (or woman) for the job, irrespective of colour, creed or race.
RRA section 37 allows an advert to state applications would be “welcomed” from any particular group but it does NOT allow for direct positive discrimination- THAT IS ILLEGAL.
The advert is, IMO, therefore illegal BUT it doesnt mean the 85% (or however many it is) of the white population is somehow “under siege” as some on here keep trying to infer

colour is an irrelevance- the majority are also protestant, English, female, brown eyed, right handed and heterosexual…n that proves zilch other than there are some gay, blue eyed left handers out there who pray to the pope for forgiveness

I must have been living in ‘fairytale land’ when I thought racism to this degree was a thing of the past. Obviously, racism will and always will probably exsist but surely this is just the lowest of the low. This is really too much, its not just an odd comment being made to a minority it is actually a kick in the teeth for a majority.
Damn right disgusting. Please excuse me if I sound rude but this is Britain not Africia, China, etc.. the majority of people are white here, and it sounds to me like white British people are treated as second class citizens in their own country. It is unreal and most stop now!!

PASSENGER MUGGED IN BUS STATION

An 81-year-old woman was pushed to the ground in a daylight robbery at a bus station yesterday.
The woman’s handbag was stolen after she was pushed to the floor at the bus station in Melville Street, Lincoln, just after 11am.
She was taken to Lincoln County Hospital as a precaution, but later discharged.
A 34-year-old man was arrested in nearby St Benedicts Square and taken into police custody.
After the incident, police cordoned off the scene at the bus station.
Police spokesman Rachael Hill praised officers for the teamwork that led to the arrest.
“Crimes like this in broad daylight are quite simply shocking,” she said.
“It’s thanks to the co-ordinated efforts of everyone involved here, including the officers on the ground and those working in the CCTV room, that an arrest was made so promptly.”
