A/E should have been the last place you went to not the first.
The first port of call should have been your GP surgery which would have given you an Out of Hours number which would have enabled you to access a walk in centre (or maybe even a home visit!!).
NHSD are pretty worthless when it comes to anything other than routine, general stuff.
Sorry Mary but I agree with the A/E receptionist- it wasn’t an accident and it wasn’t an emergency- that doesnt mean it wasnt very painful or immobilising as clearly it was, there are just more appropriate pathways you could have gone down

Im puzzled, what do you mean by positive discrimination? Discrimination is positive full stop isnt it?
positive discrimination is a spin word for favouring a particular section of society to ensure there voice has a representation i.e. the use of all women candidates lists for constituency elections ensures women have a more representative voice in parliament which otherwise would not have been heard
I thought you might say that. So you think it would be better for you to be represented in Parliament by someone less qualified to do the job, possibly not qualified, just because they were born with a virgina and breasts…
You can understand why i think your political and social views are sometimes pathetic…
I can understand why your spelling lets you down
I can also understand why you can’t read- didn’t I say positive discrimination (in the case of women) was unfair to men?

3 December, 2006 at 11:00 am #250553heading for a draw but at least it has shown the Aussie public we can bat on a surface as flat as my ex wife’s chest
Now we have to show we can do it in Perth
3 December, 2006 at 10:51 am #250851I have to agree with PB n Cath on this one- there are many many simpler, more effective, less public ways of poisoning someone than this. However the alternative to deliberate poisoning is coincidental poisoning- and that is even more disturbing.

The CEED (Charity) Limited operates Positive Action Traineeships under section 37 of the Race Relations Act (1976), designed to develop individual skills and train adults, from Black and other minority ethnic groups, for entry into technical, medical or professional positions where they are currently under-represented.
To be eligible for the Positive Action Training Programme you must be of black or other minority ethnic origin, i.e. African, Asian, Caribbean, Chinese (section 37 of the Race Relations Act [1976] applies).
The Traineeships are supported with funding from the European Social Fund.

Should white people be given the same human rights?
The 1974 Sex discrimination act allows for positive discrimination in favour of a minority sex in a particular area (this invariably tends to be women)
Shouldn’t men be given the same human rights as women?

The ”why” really is irrelevant.
Why? I put it to you, that you might find in your detective work, that there maybe reasonable reasons why it wasn’t payed, and that the “crime” and/or “bad” that you express as a sufficent detail of polution to the minds of the great un political washed who crave to accompany you on these boards, is wasted. I’ll leave that for you to search, you go use your pittifull 2MB connection now, go along, run on, then come back, come back with a educated response, make us aware of your sorrow that forth become you.
Quite frankly it is entirely their own fault if they fail to pay their bills. I expect that they are far too busy rushing around from political meeting to political meeting, in between beating up women and starring in porn films.
I can find you a magistrate to fullfill your statement underoath if you like?
Still no threads of political criminality of exposure about the old gang i see.
Are you a BNP member trying to expose the old gang from me, or just a spitefull tw@?
No Emma- he’s just one who see’s all the truth not just some of the truth- and the fact that you continually defend criminality and criminal actions, just because it the party you support, and condemn criminality in others underlines your inability to understand reason, rationality and common sense.
30 November, 2006 at 10:51 pm #251763Notice how many women have posted on here
Perhaps they’d all like to start a thread on how positive discrimination has ensured a representative voice for women in the House of Commons and how unfair that is to men.

http://www.halifaxcourier.co.uk/ViewArticle2.aspx?SectionID=700&ArticleID=1834019How very very embarrassing for a party which condemns corruption in politics-
of course, you won’t see the BNP condemn their own councillor-
how very very hypocritical

Check out any of the cheap airlines- Ryanair (for example) will fly you both in January to Barcelona for 3 days for £58 (thats the total between you NOT each and includes all airport taxes)
Just find a nice cheap hotel for about £40 a night n you’ve got 3 days in the heart of Barcelona for less that £200 in total. There’s loads of other options with the low cost carriers- I havent been abroad with a travel agent package holiday for over 4 years now- just use the low cost carriers n do it all myself
Of course, if you’re shopping at the Trafford centre for Xmas with the OH then you may need a bank loan to accomodate it all!
