To be fair to Tommy (for a change) I really don’t think he was suggesting that children in care are fair game Ruby.
We simply don’t know why this poor child (and she IS a child for all of this) was forcibly taken away from her mother (and father???) and put into care. We do know that these things aren’t done lightly or without plenty of thought.
One HAS got to wonder what part the Oxford social services have played in all of this. After all they are acting ‘in loco parentis’ and they allowed or permitted a 10 year old to be away from their protection in circumstances where she could meet older men and have sexual intercourse with them.
So with all the ranting and raving from the Sun readers etc etc …. how about somebody thinks on THAT point huh???
Ruby needs to read a little slower, that’s all.If she had read it properly, she would have seen that I was saying it is an atrocity that the carer of this child, be it parents or social care, allowed this young girl to get into that kind of situation and the people that did, should be hanged! (Which they should)

It’s an atrocity. They allowed her to dress like that, they allowed to to meet older men, they allowed them to rape her (as that’s what it is, consented or not!).
If I’m a sicko and make you almost ‘vomit’ Ruby for questioning why she was put into that position, then I’ll proudly wear the Sicko badge!
I agree that 16 is far too young to have sex, anyway. The female body doesn’t finish developing until 19, having sex under 19 can increase the chances of becoming baron.
You’ve heard it straight from the horses mouth, there. Temperatures rising & falling all the time isn’t global anything, whether it be warming OR cooling. It’s simply a variation in the next day’s temperature.
Dunno why people have to kick up a big fuss about the weather. But, I suppose it gives them something to fill their empty heads with.

Errr… where was I joking?? I said it was a disgrace that her parents would let her get in that situation, but as PB pointed out, the story is rather biased and not the full story. I expressed my wishes of a hanging for the sake of her justice!
