The beastly French should apologise to us for their unprovoked invasion in 1066.
As a direct result of William the Conqueror, our decent and pure Anglo-Saxon bloodlines have become tainted with horrid French / Hugenot blood – to the detriment of all the generations that followed this criminal act.
Bugger the ‘entente cordiale’ and bugger all Frenchmen.
I agree!!
I want an apology from:
The French
Germans
Iranians
Argentinians
Italians
Russians
Austrians
Americans
Indians
Australians
Kiwis
Zulus
IrishErmm…. I think I got them all.
11 April, 2007 at 6:40 pm #266952Sharon’s correct. A lot of the times it isn’t the police, a lot of the times the police want to help and do try their best, but then ofcourse we have the useless CPS, the useless, soft-as-melted-butter Judges, soft-prisons, soft-government..
I bet not one person could show me an article where justice has been delivered recently in Great Britain. Because there is no justice in today’s society.

This is the compensation received by the victims of the July 7 bombings with some guidelines and “prices” on other compensation (for fingers, ears etc).
I find it nothing short of a national disgrace that these people can sell their stories to the highest bidder as if on ebay. And what we get is MoD guided (each of those who sold the stories has an MoD press officer at all interviews), government spun story which actually leads us no nearer the truth of what happened. Example?
Girl soldier (dont know her name, sorry)- I was stripped and feared I would be raped
Iranian story- captives were given new clean clothes
Fact- The captives were given new clean clothes
Fact- They would have taken their old clothes off to put new ones onIf they wanted to TELL their stories, then fine but to sell them within 3 days of being released says something about the society we live in- it also sends out the entirely wrong message to other nations.
Perhaps Im a cynical old bar steward
Interestingly Ive just read the MoD have suspended the story selling until a “review” takes place-
Go back to Iran, commie, and stop slagging off our soldiers who fight for the very freedoms you spit on!
Ofcourse they should be allowed to sell their story. It happened to them, it’s their right to. If it’ll help ease their pain and get compensation they otherwise wouldn’t, then, good for them! 8)
It’s better a brave soldier who survived being captured by evil soldiers getting paid for their story, rather than some accountant clerk who filled out an application form to go on some stupid reality TV show getting paid for their story – Is it not?
11 April, 2007 at 6:28 pm #267335But those very brave soldiers also fought against people like the BNP.
So whot he hell do we vote for, to vote for the soldiers? Except the Tories, of course.
9 April, 2007 at 2:41 pm #267276I’m going to test it offline first before risking editing the actual online file..
Right, catch you in a couple of days, I’ll let you know how it turns out! Going to go play with the tpl files offline for a while, see what damage I can do!
Keep up the blog! 8) I’m really interested in learning this stuff.
9 April, 2007 at 12:53 pm #267301I think they should be allowed to sell their stories. This government hates them.
Atleast the newspapers want to treat them as the heroes they really are.
9 April, 2007 at 12:44 pm #267274Well, you know the links at the top, (register, search etc).. How do you go about adding new links in there. Such as, Quizzes, and send it to a HTML page. :-k
Good job I remembered to back my files up, I tried adding a link earlier, and it took the entire bloody boards down !!!! PHPbb doesn’t half like to throw a tantrum if you get one little tiny thing wrong
I’m quite enjoying learning all this stuff. Giving me a headache, though, information overload!
The coders hate me, y’know. They have to follow me around in FTP fixing everything I keep breaking by playing with the codes  but, it’s the only way to learn in my opinion! [-( I like to learn by myself, and I’m quite a fast learner.
I haven’t had any sleep, so, I’m rather hyped up right now on caffeine. Does it show?!
9 April, 2007 at 8:57 am #267279Good.
9 April, 2007 at 6:53 am #267272Now I’m trying to figure out how to edit the links :-k
