A timely thread, given the fuss over the Womens (?) 800 metre winner at the World Champs in Berlin.

According to the experts there are many factors that blur the distinction between sex and gender, and that maybe there should be a third category for those individuals who don’t fit into society’s binary boxes of ‘male’ and ‘female’.

This could then be filled by bearded 18 year old girls, who have muscles in places where I don’t even have places. And Christian Ronaldo of course.

Yes, it should be an option.

Because we are not talking about emotional suicide, or irrational self-murder. This can be controlled medically and with all due respect for the feelings of loved ones.

It all depends on the individual case, but faced with such a hard choice it should be there if required.
