Chat Forum Three: Registered Members Only

To help reduce the inappropriate behaviour of some guest chatters, we are making chat forum three accessible to registered members only.

This will initially be a trial period of one week (the trial will end on Friday September 22) — but will be extended indefinitely should the JC community wish for that to happen.

In the meantime, please feel free to share your thoughts/feedback/comments about this trial and whether you feel such a change should be made permanent.

Thank you Martin and i for one hope  its indefinitely  put in to place

those that don’t wish to log in or register can still chat for free in forum one and two and leave the rest of us in peace

and if any of the regs have problem’s logging in like penny and one or two others i presume if they message you , you will help them to resolve this issue?

I am always happy to help members troubleshoot access problems.

If someone can’t access the forum because they have been banned, I cannot guarantee a lifting of the ban — but reaching out to me via the contact form would be a recommended first step.

I, for one, do welcome the idea Martin… just a shame certain chatters that was registered initially cannot get back in due to their names being banned.

Hopefully a positive move that will eliminate the abusers who think it’s clever  to hide behind a number and constantly attack and belittle innocent chatters.

I will miss some of the number chatters,who wont register for there own reasons.As been sed tho people can still chat in f1 f2.The room seems to have cheered up and its nice.

I agree this is a good idea for room 3.

Although in room one we had a few nasties (guest number trolls), I was unable to do anything about them and it was upsetting the brand new chatters that have recently registered.

We are getting nice new regulars coming back in to room 1 and unfortunately i cant sling them out so they disrupted the new chatters enjoyment.

I would have thought that brand new chatters registering would be a good idea?  But they wont stay if they are unable to chat peacefully.

The guest numbers will need to go somewhere to chat if room 3 is no longer an option. Guides could ensure that they are booted out if they cant behave themselves in rooms 1 and 2.
