Well, I don’t fully understand US politics, but I’m not unread about it. I also have a good understanding of the US Constitution, which is a major bulwark against autocrats like Trump

Of course Darroch, an EU cultist who was appointed by May, had to go and should have resigned immediately following the leaks and a British PM in a stronger position would have sacked him immediately if he hadn’t done precisely that.
The abusive language used, in the context it was used and the false allegations that were not backed up by any factual evidence and just based on White House tittle tattle by disgruntled staff, was just utter stupidity, disrespectful and it is irrelavant how or why it was leaked.

However, for what ever purpose it was leaked…and as always..blown out of context suppose. Can’t say for sure..no one can but those who leaked it..others who went on a ride with it..sad, but politics is politics. Rudeness is rudeness. Used for advantage who knows for sure.

No ‘of course’ about it. Johnson and the hardliners are the only ones who’ve not supported Darroch. All others, including many Tory MPs, have been appalled at the way Johnson acted. May’s support of Darroch’s position was seen as the normal practice within the Civil Service, and the storm of fury over his actions has led Johnson to backtrack.

The leaking is not irrelevant. Whoever did it could well end up in prison, and the motivation must have been both political and high. Darroch’s comments were part of a daily assessment made by all ambassadors which are top-secret and meant for a few eyes only. The US ambassador to the UK must make similarly statements about the UK – and they have to be brutally honest. Anyone with eyes can see that Trump’s policy is unstable, and Darroch’s comment were not purely negative. He said that Trump’s administration was inept and unstable, which is clear to anyone with eyes – the turnover of personnel is startling by any definition, and Trump tends to run affairs in an unusually temperamental manner. It’s how he is. However, Darroch stressed that Trump was not be be dismissed or treated in a light-hearted manner.
Darroch was going soon anyway, and this leak would have made it sooner. That’s why it happened. It’s the first indication of a Britain which is going to change quite drastically once we leave the EU.
The liberal MSM and establishment is again bombarding us with misinformation on a daily basis regarding this issue (like most issues). They use inflamatory language like “hardliners” (like hard brexit etc) to paint a false picture and present themselves as moderate, when in fact the reverse is true.
Given Darrochs EU background he should never have been appointed by May in the first place in the current political climate and it was a very poor decision by a poor PM and arguably the worst PM in living memory. The crude language used and the false accusations Darroch made went way beyond his brief, it really is as simple as that no matter how much his supporters huff and puff about it now. The leaks go all the way back to 2016 but were purposely leaked now during the Tory leadership contest…
Lastly, Edward Snowdon is lauded as a saint by the liberal establishment, the whistle blower in the Darroch resignation has been immediately tarred as a traitor and a criminal by the same establishment and who should be hunted down and prosecuted…
The point ge made about snowden and the establishment is intresting.
Not so diffrent to julian assange another commited liberal.
This was the guy who ruined the bnp by leaking online adresses.
He upset the wrong person on the far left and was chucked under a bus.

Just curious..has there ever been EVER an American President you respected, liked, found things ran smoother, proper etiquette, served our Country well, took us out of turmoil?
As far as some of Trumps team members some he kept in from Clinton and Obama’s time..he did not wipe slate clean totally. Would have been mad exodus. Lol.. however, some left on own accord due to attacks as they did support Trump. Got out of kitchen as too hot. Others, well not perfect..get caught eventually. All Countries have representatives, or members of station which dont have perfect scores. Our Country just more recognized as most media hate Trump. Use this time as advantage points for readers and supporters interest against him. Persuasive techniques.

P.s..Here in America we hear Megan getting much grief and Harry from the Queen. Yep papers ride through that as well newspapers. Ummm, baby gift rejection from Mrs. Trump to Megan and Harry. How rude no? Do we know what goes on behind the real scenes, really?
Why would Megan, American, be so nasty in Country raised? Parents and family still live here! Does she have less respect for her mother whom she loves, show a daughter whom stomps on her mother in public. No matter what she must show respect to her own mother’s Country. Maybe not leaders, but represent more class than what papers write……
Intresting how these people got info on nasa and the fbi under obamas regime.
