Has to be employed you suffer an injury while self employed and you have no income

I have never been employed so my commets will be bias,,just have to say that being self employed you do have more choices,, also lots more satisfaction,, on saying that there is a security issue to do with finance,ie a guaranteed income and pensions,,myself I would never change to being employed,,I think there are more self employed now than there has ever been,, anyone contemplating going self employed I would advise them to have a good chartered accountant, discuss it with their bank financial adviser, and be prepared tolive on bread and water and loose all the luxuries until the buisness can afford them, you will have to live on drawings which are not a guaranteed stable income,, dont borrow more than you can pay back and take into account that 5% interest today can easily become 15% tomorrow.,many have fallen by the wayside running on a shoestring,,way up all the risk factors,, dont jump into the fire until its cooled down

SOP it depends if some bussiness became successful one cud have a lot more income than being employed by someone else, and u can make the rules, therefore not 100% better life but a % better, and i mean i have a prob at the company i am working for, i see a health and safey prob, but they dont give a fuk, so ofc people will get injorys, what has happend repeatly, as companys are not willing to spend cash to improve staff exp.

JENN ikr, i think people are or should ? do they want to be with some company who dont giv a fuk about them, all there life or worry if they change to a different company, but they will hav maybe thee same or and different company probs or gamble and be self employed, it depends on the person and luck.

nice comment jenni….yeah…..going self employed is like being a trucker…you got to be in it for the long haul. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. I think some of this comes down to what sort of person you are, how brave you are and how big the bridges are that allowed one to get there.

Thank you all for commenting…..that’s how rivers are crossed.

I’ve been self employed and employed and both. I am again. I’m loving it. What are your experiences of being self employed or employed? Is one better than the other or are they compatible together? Have a great weekend every one.

I worked a long time in  different jobs now I am happily retired and love it too
