I should add that I don’t cut out so-called ”bad” foods. I only use vedegetable oil for cooking (I used to love beef dripping for example); I always grill stuff rather than fry it. In fairness I don’t eat much potato but pasta seems to be OK. I love roats beef, lamb ,pork with crackling etc but if i am making a casserole i trim the meat well.

As I say without making too much effort I can eat practically anything I want to, but within reason. Occasionally I will even treat myself to a fat boys breakfast at the local cafe. You know, the fried bread, 3 fried eggs, bacon, bubble, baked beans, bacon etc – as much as they can get on the plate. Mmmmmmm love it. But not more that a couple of times a month.

Surely his central point is that obese people (male AND female) are not as physically attractive as well proportioned people? They are medically at risk from high blood pressure, cardio vascular problems, diabetes, respiratory issues and so on and so forth.

They consume more than their fair share of food resources by stuffing their chubby chops with an endless stream of burgers, pies, cream cakes, deep fried Mars bars, etc. They often belch and fart horribly due to the aforementioned dietary excesses, and the bath floods over when they get into it – assuming that they are able to that is.

Why do you think that the nursery rhyme was created ….. “Roly Poly pudding & pie, kissed the girls and made them cry”.

Don’t you think that these are the issues that fastcars was pointing at?

Absolutely correct – and i really wish that the medical profession would make this a lot clearer to patients when prescribing them.

I took a course of steroids a long time ago to get over a Rugby injury and I was horrified at the rate at which I put on ”bulk”. I very rapidly stopped taking them I can tell you.
