Well to be fair, I had no idea that Cath was overweight, and I suspect that nobody else knew either. However, having been there myself, I can empathise with her feelings.
Mind you there is one bloody great big problem with losing weight. My waist used to be 44” – now it’s 38”. This means that all my trousers fell down all the time and it cost me a few bob to have them all taken in.
This really works as an incentive because if I put weight on again, they can’t let them out again and I am far too mean to go out and buy new ones.
ok this has got way out of hand and it is to a certain degree down to my reaction to this post. I am offended that people can post comments like they did but its free speech on these boards apparently isnt it.
For information i am overweight and i hate it. There are various reasons for my wieght and they are not because i stuff chocolate bars n cream cakes PB however thats really not anyones business is it really?
The thing is now i have calmed down is the fact this post wasnt aimed at me so praps i’ll just take the attitude sod it it isnt aimed at me so why should i care???
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, i know one or 2 shallow ppl that come on here and spout bull about how *they cant find big women attractive* only for them to contradict themselves when in need of shall we say shag for want of a better word, THEY are the type of ppl that really need to take a look inside themselves and do something about how shallow they are.
Everybody has different opinions on how they look to themselves, ive often called my self fat (im a size 12) only to be slapped by my other half, friends, family AND ppl i dont know that well, but my saying is i say it b4 anyone else does, and to be quite truthful i dont care wat others think of me.
My best friend is a *large* lady, but she is beautiful both inside and out and her partner loves her very much as do her children, for me when i meet someone its wats on the inside that counts for me , as someone pointed out weight can be lost but ugliness on the inside cant change.
The one thing that does strike me as *wrong* is that a lot of ppl think that because a person is over weight then it must be due to the fact they stuff themselves with the wrong food when infact it can be down to many things such as thyroid problems, steroid use in some cases its even hereditary, i think that more ppl should take the time to get to know someone b4 they *judge* them for what they may look like to them.
and i would just like to add a big huggles for cath (((((((((((((((((((cath)))))))))))))))) mwahhhhhhhhhhhhh hunni dont let anyone get u down , u are wat u are and i think ur lubberly x x x x

Im sure Cath wont mid me telling you this, but she has been absolutely destroyed by some of the replies to this subject. it doesnt help PB, that one minute you are you and the next minute you are not. the boy who cried wolf. She is shattered.
