Of course it matters if someone is helping her get the alcohol.

Exactly! It matters a lot! If no one bought her the booze, she wouldn’t be able to drink it would she? 🙄

I think at the decrepit age o late 40’s.. one would have their own spends ? maybe I’m just a rich socialist bitch.. seeking gypsey creams .

Alcohol dependency despite the temporary ‘high’, is a depressant and until the user who quite happily drinks themselves into that welcome oblivion, tires of waking up in a pool of their own urine and vomit, never notices fresh buds on a tree and a beautiful sunset, the smile of a pretty lady and the rain on their face, they will continue to drown their sorrows and nothing anybody else says makes a single bit of difference.

Alcoholics don’t require someone else to buy their booze, there are thousands of supermarkets and off licences selling it cheaply who will happily take your cash, no questions asked.

Oh but they do when they are no longer physically capable of getting it themselves and if it doesn’t matter, then it’s strange how it’s one of the first questions any health professional dealing with the person asks……. oh and I had a problem with alcohol many years ago and personally I  didn’t wake in my own urine or vomit.

Yep, so if Jamie isnt physically capable of going out and buying it herself, someone else must be getting it for her.

Without personalizing it, which defeats the object. Moon is a functioning alcoholic, she visits family, they visit her, she has her daily routine and speaks about it often when she posts. Putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5 educates NOBODY about the curse of alcohol dependency. When you reach the stage described on this board, your body is shutting down, your vital organs are failing and the last f ing thing anyone would think off, is oooo I will log in JC to have a natter.

    *shrug*
