Watch out for Steven Gerrard………. yet again, pure genius and best complete footballer in the world by a mile

Yes he proved so in the World Cup – didn’t he – along with Lampard – 2 over rated over paid mediocre English midfielders

Bellamy will be the star for Liverpool this season – who should push Chelsea for the title methinks

Watch out for Newcastle too – after their thrilling Inter Toto – home draw with a Norweigan Sunday League side – I think they are good odds to be relegated before Xmas – how they are going to fair without any forwards is beyond me

Oh and also – Mackems to be promoted by February 2007

who is your team Magoo ???

Gerrard for Liverpool is a great deal different than Gerrard for England. I don’t have to remind Hammers fans of that fact

gerrard is a cert as always, had a bad world cip only scored 2 goals in 5 games and thats not enough for a midfielder is it

i think andy johnstone will do well for the toffees alongside james beattie i think theyl play well together

anelka at pompey!! watch out for that itl be hilarious especially the manchester city games

Gerrard is a good honest player – no more – he’s hardly world class I think we have only 2 players near to world class – thats Rooney and Ferdinand – if he stopped trying to look like Bob marley and concentrated on his game

I watched Beattie and Johnstone the other day – I know its early days – but can’t see them threatening much – johnstone is still an unkown quantity at that lever – and Beattie has never found the form he had a few years ago
I’d say Everton will be lucky to finish above half way

Id love to see Newcastle relegated – but Duff has been a great buy for them – what the ferk is he doing signing for Newcastle !!!!!!!!!!

Two man Utd players that hardly shined this World cup …. too much hype surrounds Rooney, he’s shown he’s been less than average this world cup and in the run up to it too… “Nearly World Class?”… Not in my book.

Gerrard, Hargreaves and Joe Cole were Englands best players this time round.

ffs he had a broken foot in the run up to the World Cup – how can he shine on crutches !! – he still has more than any other home grown player

I agree with hargreaves – hot a popular choice of player – but he had a good world cup

Gerrard – apart from 1 goal was non existent and Joe Cole drifts in and out games

All in all – the 2 finalists were nothing special either – just happens we were less special !!!

Two goals for Gerrard, he was Englands top scorer against Trin & tobago & Sweden. That’s not really what I call Non-existant.
