I am sure that this will lead to some here calling me a dirty old man (whereas in fact I am very clean, washing thoroughly every day), but I was impressed by this century-old drawing by A.S.Hartrick, a favourite teacher of the poet/artist, David Jones.
Wonder how much the model got paid to stand for this?……hang on that’s linda…..LMAo RATF PML
I really liked this drawing.
Nudes in art touch different feelings.
Some very voluptuous (Rubens), some surprising (Picasso’s Nude descending a Staircase –
but the one by Hartrick brings out a very personal vulnerability and strength of character in the woman. It was lovely – to me.

Nudes in art just get me to ask loads of questions…like as I said…how much was the model paid….did he or she really want to do it? and most of all…did they look back later regretting it?
