How can only 1 vote each in a democratic decision made by the people be tyranny ??  How many votes do you want ??  In fact what do you want ?  You want to remain in the EU, many don’t and you didn’t get what you wanted. You don’t want or agree with another referendum. You would like the EU reformed, that’s not on the table and will not happen , so what do you want ? Apart from turning back time, giving those silly leave voters a good shake as they have no idea what they want …  and saying tick took , explaining to everyone exactly what’s going down, as only you  get it … So apart from all that, what do you want ?

The floor is yours  ….  as per    …  :mail:   ;-)

Btw, please don’t make a speech about the good of the people, future of our children, etc etc. We all want that. How ?

    #1110563

Leave was a stupid idea then and is still a stupid idea now voted for by people whod vote for Boris Johnson as pm make of that as you wish

Reason we haven’t left is simple UK is 4 countries not 1 as much you leave voters think we are

2 countries voted remain 2 voted leave

Not the will of the people that’s a lie its the will of the more populated country that’s being done and we have a word for it leavers accuse the EU of doing it to us often

Untill we have no deal we won’t be able to get a deal

when we leave in March with no deal then all the European ports will be grid locked with all the goods and food stuff they can no longer send here

then French and German industrialists as well as spainish growers Dutch clog makers will kick the arsed of their governments and tell them to sort a deal out

we will then Bevin the driving seat and will dictate a deal that suits us

    Ge

The Remain elite has bombarded us with negative messages reagarding ‘No Deal’ without actually supplying any ‘hard’ evidence to support their case, there will be some economic upheaval whatever option is negotiated, or not and a growing number of respected voices are now suggesting a no deal is probably best for both parties, a clean break and of course no 44 bn paid out to the EU elite corporatist carpetbaggers.

    :good:

If you had lost, you’d be demanding another referendum, as Farage made clear.

    I’m not Farage.

So apart from all that, what do you want ?

I want us to remain in the EU. Why is that in doubt?

I don’t want a referendum – at this moment. We should rejoin at the appropriate moment – when people realise that life outside the EU is worse than life inside the EU. That could happen quite quickly.

But if the referendum comes now, so be it.

How can only 1 vote each in a democratic decision made by the people be tyranny ?? How many votes do you want ??

I have no idea what you are talking about now.

I said to only vote once is tyranny, meaning that to have a vote to leave and then stop people voting to change their mind or reaffirming their decision is tyranny. :-(

    Maybe. But maybe not!

But you’re just spelling out the consequences of no deal.

We were told during the referendum that we’re all in th money once we leave. The Brexiteers drove a big red bus around the country with the sign of how much money the NHS was going to get, and people naturally thought why should we pay into the EU when it could go to our NHS.

Lies! Absolute lies, and we all know that now – apart form the fanatics who want no deal.

Do we all have to  get damaged to get Brexit?

If this were a war, and we had just rescued our army from Dunkirk, then sure. A united nation would tighten its belts and get ready for the death and destruction that would follow.

But it’s not a war. You’ll make it into a war, with damaged relations for years to come, with all the consequences.

Pritti Patel was calling on the British government to starve Ireland until the Irish give in (don’t the Tories insist on a national curriculum in which we learn of British history, especially incidents such as the Irish Famine?!?). Do you realise what the impact of even making statements such as that make?

We’re not a united country, it’s not Hitler we’re fighting. If you declare an economic war on the EU, you’d better beware of the consequences for the UK, because any damage brexit is going to do to us, especially poorer Brits, will be magnified in an economic war.

Jeez! The fanatics here who put their heads in the sand and don’t think things through!!

    Paige,

the way some of these fanatics are going, we’ll be down to two countries – or one when Wales realises how much money it’s going to lose once we leave.

But they don’t care. They’re English nationalists, and they deserve what will happen to them.

The trouble is that a lot of the rest of us will get getting it in the teeth as well.

Perhaps someone could explain how the Leave élite  think we can avoid the suffering of a no-deal Brexit, because the ‘stories’ I’ve heard from everyone else, Leaver and Remainer, seem pretty convincing!
