An action-packed spectacle of courage, strength and skill performed by the Knights of Arkley in the grounds of the beautiful Kelham Hall. Also featuring breath-taking falconry displays from Hawks of Steel, along with a medieval village.

This month in Liverpool, the annual river festival. Tall Ships are set to sail in to the city, joining several military vessels and research ships. The British ThunderCat Racing Tour will make a welcome return and will see boats battling it out on the Mersey reaching speeds of up to 65mph. Visitors can also expect incredible jet skiing, fly boarding, canoe polo and wakeboarding displays along with some dry land exhibitions, unarmed combat and weapons displays. The Sea Cadets will also be performing their field gun window ladder semaphore and club swinging activities.

For the last five years Bob ‘Chilli Bobs’ Price and son Neal have been growing over 40 varieties of chilli at their farm in Rolleston.
The ChilliBobs calendar culminates in July when the farm hosts ChilliBobs East Midlands’ ChilliFest. Now in its fourth year this annual event is set to be the biggest and hottest so far. With the emphasis on “local” there are live music acts across three days, Artisan produce, gift and street food stalls, refreshments and beer tents plus free kids’ activities, it’s truly a family event with something for everyone!ChilliBobs will also have an innovation area set up so that you can see and discuss with experts in their field various modern methods for growing plants to controlling pests, along with the ability to buy many varieties of chilli plant.
