Gerry ive been following this q situation as you know.
This isn’t a criticism because I did the same.
You and skep were kinder than most to him here.
I once confronted him with some logic on cycling routes and I kid you not this is what he said hes a big weightlifter and hes coming to Bristol soon fine I said see you whenever.
Then the next day he has decided hes not cycling through Bristol.
I think he is sinster.
He has mistook our kindness for weakness.
I stopped adding anything to the boards as he saw it as carte blanche to personally attack me and it got boring.
I have had a smile over the past week or so as with the mizzy/morg saga Q has jumped on threads desperate to not lose his monopoly and failed.
Q (!) the they are ganging up on me and I am a victim speech.

You blocked me in the room for swearing you sed,i got the feeling you blocked me in the room because i wasent paying you enough attention and supporting you.Tbf that was just how i saw it.Then the next thing i knew you had added my name to a post,make your mind up.That kinda thing annoys me.I agree with mooosy about you having a problem with wimen,i think you like to manipulate them in to your way of doing things and when they dont,you start popping at them.I saw that behaveure comming from you.Quintessentiual can bleat on all he likes,i dont want to be treated diffrent from a man,I want to be respected as a woman though,and if i see another woman being disrospected and i feel i should say something,i will!

Apart from physical violence due to women being physically weaker , women should be treated the same as men.. they arent children. Scepticals comment for eg of “Also i try as hard as possible not to attack women at all on these threads. It doesn’t seem right to me ” is bizarre . Women want to be regarded as equals or should do, not patronised with a view of if the person is female I will shuffle off into a corner scared to offend them.
Actually, I don’t believe women are equal to men, nor treated equally to men.
That doesn’t mean women are inferior. No way. They should be given equal pay, treated as equals in society, work, etc.
It doesn’t mean women are superior, either. I was at Uni when the Women’s Lib Movement was born, and was swept up with everyone else into it, with all its (many) strengths and weaknesses. Experience with real women soon knocked feminism out of me (hopefully, not its strengths).
But I don’t think women are equal to men.
They’re different.
The most obvious fact is that they’re different physically. They’re weaker, as QP states, but also they’re a damn sight tougher.
They experience life differently to men in many fundamental ways, and their intellect is different. Not inferior, or superior. At the level of sciences, engineering, etc most women feel unconfident for historical reasons and keep out, but those who do go in are the equals of men.
But their reactions and sensitivities are different from the reactions and sensiti8vites of men. I find women much more interesting as characters than men – that is a personal reaction. There are interesting men, and I have some good male friends, but I have more women as friends (in real life).
I am generalising in a big way here, but the exceptions prove the rule to me.
There, I’ve laid my head on the block and wait for the axe to fall form both men and women here. Might be interesting if my head still remains despite axe-blows. We live and we learn.
I agree with Ge’s post completely but like Milkman I also think it’s sinister. Something very contrived about it all. There is no reasoning with him, anything you say is either twisted or ignored. He is right and everyone else is wrong and out to get him, like a spoilt child who doesn’t get its own way. As I’ve said, definite issues going on, in my opinion. I appreciate Scep pointing it out, but as I don’t see it I’m not arsed anymore, I’ll just carry on Ignoring it.
