Retired policewoman died in airing cupboard after being trapped for several days, inquest hears
A retired policewoman died after becoming trapped naked in an airing cupboard for a “number of days” while on holiday, an inquest heard.
Elizabeth Mary Isherwood, 60, had got up to go to the bathroom during the night while on a one-week stay in a luxury holiday complex.
<p data-mediaconductor-processed=”true”>But a possible mix up of the doors led to the part-time care worker from Wolverhampton stepping into the airing cupboard.</p>The door closed behind her and when part of the door knob fell off she became trapped in a “very confined space” with no light, coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones told the hearing.
She is believed to have banged on the door to try and raise the alarm, with the occupier of another apartment recalling that he heard a “series of thuds”.
Her family say that other guests reported hearing banging at the Plas Talgarth holiday complex, for more than 24 hours, but had assumed that there was maintenance being done to the property.
In attempt to escape from the cupboard, she broke off a piece of copper pipe to break through the plasterboard, but the broken pipe sprayed water throughout the airing cupboard.

If its true very sad, sprayed water ? in there less than 24 hours , not air tight, so what did she die of and what exactly is the point of this ? Was it an ex Alfie ?

I don’t know this ‘Alfie’ fellow well, but I am quite sure from reading the room he and everyone would say that Blossom was more of a besotted puppy rather than a ‘soul mate’.
