Melissaphobia comes from the Greek and means Honey bee and fear of so the fear is actually not the fear of the bees as such but the fear of their stings….which was a prevalent fear back in the day…

fear of big words^ I actully learnt how to spell that word…

I have go-onaboutaphobia…….it’s a fear of people going on about phobias…..LOL…..but yes….there are many phobias…the Greek word literally means fear then the second word the fear of…..

Apparently phobias are a form of anxiety….in my opinion,no one was born with a particular phobia so they either picked it up some where or learnt it through their formative years.

Must resist telling the joke about phobias…..I got a phobia….don’t panic about it…yes it’s not a laughing matter as i know phobias are very serious….

To be honest, i think every one has a phobia in one way or another and this is probably why advertisers spend millions of pounds or dollars etc every year on research….attempting to sell you some thing that satisfies your phobia

Here’s another literary question……what King of France was on the throne when the historically accurate prisoner (but no one knows any thing other than that) wore the iron mask?

LOL@hugs…..i’m going to have to challenge you here and say that the word you come up with is not the longest word in the dictionary……..Actually it’s smiles because there is a mile between the first and last letters….
