    There’s no right or wrong answer to this but i have found that after boiling the water……4 minutes is a great time for a perfectly boiled egg…how do you like your boiled eggs…hard or soft and how long do you boil them for?

    When I was a boy, there was a magazine called Tit Bits.

    The title made me giggle, but I’m sure it was full of questions like this.

    3 and a half minutes, eggs keep on cooking ….as long as they are still warm….  which is why never put hot water in a pan or any receptacle which has had eggs in   it cooks it more and is harder to get off   Cold Water lolol

    Lol here. Made yesterday. Thinking 4 minutes about right.

    I love egg salad… i chopped up eggs..add onions, salt, pepper, celery and mayo. Mix well.

     

    I make what we call devil eggs. Appetizer..serve for party, entertainment. Slice egg in half. Take out yellow cooked yoke. Take all your yellow yokes Add mayo. Pepper. Little mustard, horse radish, garlic..replace mixture in egg. Dash with paparika.refrigerate to use..

     

    Slice eggs add to salad..Take thin slices of lunch meat. Ham, bologna, roast beef, salami. Roll. Add to your green salad mix. Sliced eggs, olives, peppers, sweet onions. We call chef salad. Add a balsamic dressing. I use one known with raspberry and walnuts.. oh don’t forget raisins and small dry cranberries. Awesome….

    Don’t forget omlettes…

     

    Small diced pototoes..onions, peppers, sausage, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms. Can add spinach…delicious..

    Tried the recipe but ended up with a gooey mess of egg and shell. Maybe using the microwave was a bad idea   :unsure:

    Soft boiled egg with  soldiers mine but the soldiers must be untoasted with real butter on it.

    Eggs into a pan, bring to the boil, and boil for 3mins 20s

    I love eggs….boiled…omelettes…poached by someone else…as I cant get the knack of poaching!

    I never time my boiled eggs because im not fussy as to how well done or not well done they are…I put them on the cooker and go away and do other stuff lol

    Just once I tried microwave. Not sure what happen as most things u put in microwave need to have a slit for air think. Lord what a mess. So true, exploded all over in oven…

    I do get confused with write up on eggs often. One minute tell u not to eat more than 2 or 3 week. Not good for you.  Next they tell you, you should. Too funny. When u think about it though egg products in many things.
