Words and phrases such as;
‘nom nom’ and ‘sleeps’ are all very well and will establish the user as a trendy person who you should invite to your Christmas get together.
But what about the word ‘munch’ as a substitute for the word ‘delicious’? Would you invite someone who kept using ‘munch’ to your party or would you just punch him in the mouth?
I would stop being so judgemental and send myself to the naughty step for punching someone in the mouth :lol:
Do people really say nom nom? I mean, I might type it – might – but I’d never say it.
As for “sleeps”, I didn’t realise that was trendy, it’s something we’ve always done in our family though…hey I knew I’d be trendy eventually even if it is by accident! :lol:
But “munch” is a new one on me, never heard anyone say that…I’d have to give them my most withering look, kills small children at 50 paces, reduces macho men to quivering wrecks – much more effective than a punch in the mouth. :D

I don’t think it is trendy, but I know somebody who keeps using it on facebook. Apparently it’s 77 sleeps till Christmas. All I did was ask her how many ‘sleeps’ till Christmas 2025 and she unfriended me.
Best you don’t friend me then…
