    Laine1…

Sorry for your discomfort. Wish you much success on your upcoming surgical procedure.
    May I ask,
    Looked at MRI.
From what seen believe, 2 disk more so, compressed to the nerves.. or muscles. Removing them, or refilling sponge type material. They do this type of surgery by going in the throat. Feel for you. I have issues as well in this area and think what called C4/C5 in my lower spine. Drunk trucker, suspended driving license rear ended my vehicle. May have laid dormant more with eventual aging process issue till much older…doctors said activated accerlation due to impact.

Do you have stenosis of the middle portion of back, and osteoarthritis?
    Be well, good luck again!

    Laine1..

If I may, some of us if fom UK or not, do wish to help support some one like yourself who may have some necessary surgery which understand will provide discomfort but final results you will be better in the long wrong.

Hard to think however, as a chatter myself and often misunderstanding, (for me) comprehension and language barrier as well, why would someone possible suggest

“Professor Noel Fitzpatrick.” Also known as Martin Noel Gagan Fitzpatrick, Irish specialist nuero-orthopaedic Veterinary surgeon best known for his work in small animal practice.

Perhaps the offer suggestion by another, should be revisited to offer a better surgeon specialist in the field of human people. Maybe, I am wrong, or again responder did not understand your need for understanding and sensitivity, but could not find proper Professor for the human need….could be wrong, but after some research, this area lacked finding correct provider as suggested…
    Again good luck, Monday…..

    Ge

Apologies for lots of words which appear totally random and out of context but that actually do make some sense, sort of. If you squint, from a distance.

After saving up my pennies for a considerable amount of time I recentlyish bought a fairly expensive computer and gaming monitor and built a custom desk to house both. (a bodge job of an old Ikea desk and new bits added on to it) I have really drooly dogs, which drool everywhere and while they are not drooling they have short hair that gets everywhere, socks underwear and even inside cupboards I have not opened for months. You name the place and I have found hair there, even unopened cans of Fray Bentos. 😋

Soooo, being an eBay addict addicted to crap ideas, I came up with a solution to protect my new computer, I would cover the entrance where it sits with a fine steel mesh, that would give my desk a ‘manly’ industrial look but what would also be practical at protecting my computer from drool, hair, nosie inquisitive dogs and their tails that wag like horse whips.

Soooo, rather than drill unnecessarily into my new desk (bodge job) I thought I would attach this cover with magnetic strips, with a sticky back.

    Today both came.😂

The “magnetic strip” (cheap from China) is not actually magnetic and the fine steel mesh (from China) was “folded” flat (rather than rolled and sent in a tube as pictured) and so BOTH were absolutely useless!

    That made me SMILE today!

    😅
