    GE..

Cute, understood post, fine. Smiled when reading as do not have dog issue, rather dust for some reason. Dust in this area almost everyday. Not sure if because my station area is back into a corner of one room and people, dogs and a cat goes into entry way, bringing in extra dust..? Frustrates me too as read to keep your technology stuff operating properly so forth this a good habit to do regularly cleaning items.

Love ebay too. Smiled. Have been lucky most of every time purchased from a seller. But waiting process, excitment, arrival and disappointment, stinks too hee hee.
What did eventually was put over my computer, printer, and other devices, covers. Material.
Like ones you can buy to put over a blender, toaster, on kitchen counter tops. Decorative, but hidden so to speak.. amazes me when go to wash them, how dirty become when just covering something. Good luck….
    Smile…

Laine1.. If I may, some of us if fom UK or not, do wish to help support some one like yourself who may have some necessary surgery which understand will provide discomfort but final results you will be better in the long wrong. Hard to think however, as a chatter myself and often misunderstanding, (for me) comprehension and language barrier as well, why would someone possible suggest “Professor Noel Fitzpatrick.” Also known as Martin Noel Gagan Fitzpatrick, Irish specialist nuero-orthopaedic Veterinary surgeon best known for his work in small animal practice. Perhaps the offer suggestion by another, should be revisited to offer a better surgeon specialist in the field of human people. Maybe, I am wrong, or again responder did not understand your need for understanding and sensitivity, but could not find proper Professor for the human need….could be wrong, but after some research, this area lacked finding correct provider as suggested… Again good luck, Monday….. Linda

    Okayyyy……

Firstly, I’m pretty sure Laine has a decent SOH, and knew exactly where I was coming from and would not take any offence at my tongue in cheek remark. I’m also pretty sure as an intelligent woman and as her surgery is on Monday, that she has done plenty of research and knows exactly the finer points of her surgery without people in a chatroom googling ‘ surgeons’ for her. Prof Noel Fitzpatrick is well known and very popular over here and well loved as well for his compassion and love of all animals, which is why I’m sure Laine understood the remark !!

secondly, As you said that English is your first language I don’t understand why you keep banging on about ‘ language barriers and comprehension’, whats the problem ? Are you from another planet ? were you taught English by a computer program ? Even Americans have a sense of humour, ;-)

Thirdly, I’m pretty sure one of your careers has been in medical profession, surely then you do know that most pioneering surgeries are first practised and adapted by working vets on animals ?  Hip replacements, Knee replacements, shoulders, wrists, spinal fusions ….. years and years ago  and as the Prof quoted ”human joints are not dissimilar to animal joints”

Fourthly, my comment was for Laine, and a small ‘ Good Luck’, not you, so I would prefer it if you didn’t use any of my posts to try and make yourself look like the 2nd Mother Teresa who’s taken an acid tab.

The English is “normal” on certain posts, then rapidly goes pear shaped and wobbly on others. Still the “macho” men enjoy a damsel in distress on these boards. They get to ride to “her” rescue”.

Well Gez, as you know i’m not a regular poster, I have little spats then don’t bother for months, but there is 1 thing that puts me off.

So you wake up, come down get a coffee and listen to the news then think ”i’ll see if there is anything interesting on the boards”, so log on. Then you look down the list of threads and you see the same name has posted most recently on every thread, no matter what the subject. There are 2 names that do this frequently, not mentioning any names but one may be an alien and the other is misterQ, oops sorry that slipped out. Well I just think people who do that but don’t add any relevance to the thread apart from blowing their own trumpet, are boring arse holes who love the sound of their own voice and value their own opinion far and above  that of any one else.  So I don’t bother !!

Sorry to hi jack the what made you smile thread :-(

What made me smile today ?  Gerry and his ‘industrial look’ macho mesh, whaddup doooood  ;-)

I don’t really bother meself these days Moose, the sly covert passive aggression, followed by mock hysterics, just pisses me off and so I have to bite my e lip, or maybe I have just got a touch of Blossomitis. Nice to see you posting though, your humour is wasted on them.

My laughter and smiles is that even if my phone is near by, get to read jerks who bitch about how bad these chat forums are, do not do a dam bit about it, improve or make it better so others can come in.. so when one, two even 3 offer, the bouncers come in very critically and destroy good intentions..

Everyone does like good laughter, but if these are some times considered jokes and others do not feel it is, directed to, why are they suddenly jumping in fighting back against so called jokes…you assume they think joke when do not know you..

    Have a nice day…..

well if you don’t know whether its a joke or not because you don’t know the chatters involved,  their history or indeed anything about them, don’t jump in and criticise their posts, if you do expect something back. There are 100’s of posts you’ve made where I could have criticised you etc, but it wasn’t directed at me, so I didn’t. Comment and critique my post expect a riposte. Simples ;-)

Have a sooper dooper day B-)
