P.s. Mooosey in my opinion does have very good points when she post on the boards in all areas as many do..some times head strong people just attack in misunderstanding..rather than ask for clarity..

    We all only human..right?

David Attenborough is even older than I am – yes, he is – and I watched his natural history programmes when I was a boy.

    God, were they traumatic!!!

I watched as they filmed some poor gazelle eating peacefully as a cheetah or leopard or some such creature crept up on it and kept wondering when the tv crew would alert the gazelle, some siren or something to make it run. But no!! The predator would leap and tear at the poor victim and, even before the poor thing was dead, start eating it.

God, did I feel sick and disturbed. The gazelle’s eyes as it was was being killed can still cause me petty nightmares, and rude boy has typically (and no doubt to his gless0 led to a reawakening of the childhood traumas. :-(   :-(   :-(

Sceptical you can talk about childhood traumas as much as you like, but without evolution ( survival of the fittest) you wouldn’t be alive today. If humans thousands of years ago hasn’t killed wild animals to survive reawakening “childhood traumas” disturbing your comfortable existence by the log fire you wouldn’t be here to comment on it in the first place. The fact Moosey has decided to take a thread purely focused on football and the name of a club subsequently turning it into a rant on animal welfare speaks volumes to her mindset. If the thread was entitled ” lol @ the dog being killed” she may have some grounds to be offended but it’s clearly football related which anyone with a half working braincell can see.

I don’t like hypocrisy so presume moosey is a vegetarian and doesn’t eat meat to satisfy her gluttony as he she so outraged by a picture of a dog. It’s interesting how people like to anthropomorphise when it relates to dogs as it may look like poor little cute family dog patch by the log fire, but when it comes to a dirty old cow in a field these characters are prepared to get stuck into the beef sandwich as they can differentiate in terms of it’s value to not attributing human traits to it. The life of a dog is no more valuable than a sheep/cow/ goat yet because a dog gets patted on the head, it’s suddenly an extension of humanity and should be treated as such?

Moosey states she is offended by the pictures implying the second one of a wolf with blood round its mouth causes offence. Perhaps a lesson in the eco system is in order as she’s isnt a creationist, so how she thinks humanity and other animals have evolved other than kill their prey I’ve no idea- maybe she thinks like you do scep we are descended from fornication in the garden of Eden and  a naughty snake slithering down a tree.

In any event, I’m actually more pro “animal rights” than most on here- a few months ago I was arguing with Somer over hunting which I think is fairly despicable in some circumstances, yet the noble moose was nowhere to be seen. She chooses to pipe up over pictures of wolves on a wolves fc topic feigning mock outrage because there’s a dog in it that looks like fido who she takes out for walkies

    Now somer..lol..

I know many hunt..I know many who eat their kill. I know many who can’t hunt on real hunt..and sadly are more cruel as they not hunt proper leave to suffer..stinks.

Funny I sat few weeks ago in my car..we have few stray cats..beautiful ones near my work place. Staff feeds them..they are loved..but ferrel out door raised..grown..scared and not trusting of people.

Any hoot..I saw this one beauty stalking something out..I watched at the cleverness. Amazed at the ability to stalk in secret..and when it caught the prize..thought it a big mouse as it had head in mouth while dangling..thought oh god..good..mouse..not bother me. Well that not fair..but when looked closer it was a beautiful bird I love..I sat..observed and was sad..but i did have to look away and say this necessary..cat hungry.. but in any event I understand.

As I not familiar with footy teams..I too thought it may be a footy direction..use of pictures..

So a fast response. I recall looking at a baby pic.. in f2. baby looked to be suffering. I took offense.. not sure. Perhaps my line of work. Bad day..I commented. Slam dunked too over my opinion. It happens some times..

You’re clearly an illiterate troll who hasn’t contributed anything other than insults… back in your box and stop embarrassing yourself.

And..politics..teams can be sport related. What garbage with parties..

Florida a night mare recounting votes.  Fgs..finding all these extra 80,000 ballots from no where. Just so a team can win for the house. Lol. Bunch of wolves in my opinion..lol lol…

It’s quite amusing that most on the thread are contributing , yet we have Sophia accusing people of trolling calling people retards with exclamation marks. BTW there is no “for” in drama so your attempt at humour just portrays you for what you are- a classless imbecile sadly in need of a basic education.

Gosh, someone got their Y fronts in a twist !!!

Firstly I must apologise. I was not offended by ‘the pictures’as I stated in my 1st post That was wrong. ! I found only the 1st picture offensive. The wolf with blood round its mouth after a kill didn’t offend me at all, as all the other ‘natural world’ pictures also did not offend me. I’m a major fan of David Attenborough and love his programmes, I’m not squeamish what so ever ! I also enjoy a good rare steak ( as long as the farms pedigree is stated and its supported by the FSA / Assured food standards, look for the tractor symbol). Maybe we do humanise our pets too much, that’s a different argument. I can’t bear unnecessary cruelty and am also vigorously against hunting, had I seen a thread about ‘hunting’ by Somer I would have posted on it I’m sure, but I didn’t. Sometimes I don’t check the boards for weeks, sorry.

What I disliked about the 1st picture is that the wolf is wearing a chain. Unless its pack members have developed opposable  thumbs one can only assume it was put there by a human and that is the crux of my problem with a picture. People can read into pictures what they wish, in my head it looks like poor fido is being used to train to kill or maim. We know these things happen. I apologise again Rudeboy as, on reflection, my post was made hastily, emotionally, ( never a good idea ). As I stated I’d just watched a distressing programme where I was reminded how cruel and sick Humans can be to animals in the name of ‘fun’ with the exact same dog as pictured on your post being used as bate and suffering terrible injuries ( which were fixed but the mental injuries and terror will take a while longer) so…. Sorry if you thought I was attacking you, it was a reaction and not well thought out. By the way, I have never intentionally bullied anyone in my life and as mine and Sceps posts were becoming more personal I decided to stop posting on the subjects he likes to talk about. I knew the post was about football…. Thought you did well against arsenal btw.   :-)   :bye:

P.S. I’m not a creationist, believe in evolution and survival of the fittest, after all that nasty cheetah has babies to feed right ? I do not believe in God, although if there is a God, she needs to give her head a wobble !!
