Good stuff from Les Bleus.
Portugal are a pi.ss average team as well as a bunch of divers. Some of their dives were beyond belief. -

One little joke comment from a young guy for godness sake.
Emma why dont you get the party you support to apologise for all the outrageous racist comments they’ve made in the past about how foreigners dont belong in the UK.
Why dont you ask them to apologise for all their comments about ethnic minorities and ethnic groups.
The central…[Read more] -

Dont think need he needs a shrink as much as the English footy team taking penalties/
He’s 19 years old for godness sake. Any weak parts of his game, and the mental side of his game can be worked on over the next few years. At his age Sampras and Federer were still learning their trade. When they hit 21, 22, 23 they started really making…[Read more]

Bad Manners replied to the topic England were robbed. in the board The locker room 19 years, 10 months ago
Emma’s argument was the England were “robbed” because Ricardo came off his line in two of the penalties. If Paul Robinson(and all other goalies)do the same then the argument falls apart.

Well if it’s never enforced anywhere then what’s the problem. It gives everyone the same advantage.
I’d be interested to see Portugal’s penalties again to see if Paul Robinson was doing the same thing. -

I dont know the in’s and out of laws of whatever. I cant remember the penalties. If there was anything in what Emma’s saying then the Ref would have spotted it, and you can bet your life the English experts and Media would have spotted it.

Maybe so BM, but you don’t give the other teams credit either. Portugal wouldn’t have gotten this far if they relied on their diving and feigning injury skills.
England will have to regroup. Time heals. The European Championships qualifiers will be here in no time.
Im sure Scotland can take care of Italy, France and Ukraine no probelm. -

Is there an art to the penalty kick?
I was intrested to see the German’s had only missed 1 penalty in 18 or something like that since 1982.
Also One of their backroom staff handed Jens Lehmann a piece of paper before the Argentina game telling him the most likely place their penalty takers would aim the ball. Lehmann memorised this and used it…[Read more] -

Look, Murray shouldent have said what he said. It was a silly comment from him. He’s only 19 though. We all make mistakes or say things we shouldent sometimes.

I’ve said this before Tig, but the least England should have expected given the draw they had was the Quarters.

As I’ve said before I’m sure he dosent care if the middle class pimms and strawberries and cream brigade at Wimbeldon dont cheer him.
Andy Murray’s only 19. A few years down the line with a good coach, and some work on the weaker parts of his game he’ll win Wimbeldon. -
Bad Manners replied to the topic England were robbed. in the board The locker room 19 years, 10 months ago
This is clearly clutching at straws.
England went out because out of 4 penalties they could only score 1. To call the Portugese keeper and the ref a cheat is nonsense.
Time to move on, and realise that over the piece England simply werent good enough. -

Let’s have some credit for this guy who’s just beaten the number 3 in the world, and a twice Wimbedon finalist in straight sets. The words fantastic and magnificent spring to mind. :D British tennis is in safe hands.
