Blackpool in the middle of a cold winter is about as attractive as Blackpool heaving with people on a hot summer day in 1958.
Wait. the ghost train is fun –
but wait again, Pleasure beach is more or less closed at this time of year, isn’t it?

Mizzy can certainly go hell for leather after some people, and abusive with it,
but I have a lot of time for her.
She’s honest, and she has a poetic mind.

I missed part of the the quotation, mizzy, but not its sense. I bore your full passage in mind as I wrote my response.
The young woman I was talking about is real. She was actually extremely self-assured, and held a responsible position in her professional student association. She’s now left the country to work for refugees in the…[Read more]

Not everyone has a repulsion at people much older than themselves, mixzzy, though many have.
I know of one 24 year-old woman, from a wealthy family and very attractive, who was very keen on a man much older than her in r/t jus a couple of years ago..
You did say it happens, but it strikes you as odd..
Hmmm..
it is indeed an odd world in…[Read more]

My Christmas prezzy. Strange book – short stories, about 4 pages per story, set in France or irealnd in the 7th to the 9th centuries.
To be read slowly for the language. Each sentence is rich in sound and meaning.

is Hamilton written in hip-hop?
I’ve read several books on the US in the 1790s. Mr Ham is very interesting, but not attractive.
maybe in the show he is attractive?

Your feet are the first giveaway.
Rossano Brazzi, the star of South Pacific and a real pinup, was photographed naked on the set, his lithe body curling round in a manner which apparently sent some women crazy with desire.
But if you looked at his feet, then you would see the first signs of ageing.
I am talking veins!!

I have to say that your interest in that transcript and the psychology it represents disturbs me, King.
I know you have an interest in serial killers from your book choice. I also find that disturbing, but I know it’s an interest shared by many, many people.
The lengthy nature of the transcript seems excessive, though that’s probably my…[Read more]

King,
you write some nice posts but
this is genuinely horrible. I broke off reading it because it was so evil.
Could you tell us the purpose of presenting such sadistic obscenity?
I’m sure there must be a purpose, that you must be trying to say something,
but it would be reassuring to know what that would be.

I don’t understand, mister q.
You say that you never knew your parents and can’t understand what it would be like to lose any one.
But about a month ago, on the thread about fathers who lose children, you wriote the following…
I was moved by this last post, as the death of a child is traumatic for the parents.
Were you making it up that…[Read more]
