I couldn’t care less for Scottish, Welsh, Irish, English bitterness, I still want Murray, Henman, Monty, Lyle, Colin Jackson, Higgins and any other Brit to represent their Union to the best of their abilities, past, present and future.
What do you mean by “represent”?
What benefit did scotland, wales and NI get, when the Englishman henman, won his round one match?
If England win the WC, who gets the medals and wages? What will the other british country people get?
Sportsmen and women engage our support to help THEM win, not anyone else.
If you get REAL value for money at their event, fine, your being entertained, but lets not pretend that all britons support all those who “represent” us, and that those sports men and women do it for us.

Andy Murray is a young man who made a rash comment that’s all.
Absolutely, and when you do that, you set yourself up to be knocked.

So even tapping a little ball across a ridiculous net is political? It’s not as if it’s a real game that anyone cares about.

Who said he was representing England at tennis Emma? :? Certainly not me. I said he was representing Great Britain.
How could he not complain if he received boos at Wimbeldon. Im sure he wouldent care if a bunch of middle class twa.ts booed him anyway. And England’s not in GB :D
Oh right, so now English middle classes are tw.ats, but murray isnt then?
But he couldnt complain without looking stupid. He would look a total idiot, bemused by his own stupidity.
Hes young, and has a lot to learn.
I think he was advised to say “anyone but England”, because that would “promote” his profile. He was ill advised.
If not, he wanted to jump on the scottish anti-English bandwagon and gain support.
Alot of scots do hate the English.
Come on Tim, WUP that dirty foreigner murray.

Trust me, no Black American will say that they are glad the slave trade happened.
Martin luther king made money on the back of it. Many more black americans did, and still do. White and black liberals continue to make money from what happened.

How can a scotsman who wants anyone but England to win the world cup, represent England at tennis?
He couldnt complain if he recieved boos at Wimbledon.

I like to think as British people we can support them
Does it stop there. What about if wales played france, are other british people bar the welsh europeans?
What happens if Tim plays murray, are people british or English/scottish?

However good luck to Murray, I don’t think he’s quite the finished article yet, but give him a year or two and he may be the great tennis hope the whole of the UK has been looking for!
The whole of the uk :?
Im not a scottish hater BM. If its ok to say “anyone but England (for the world cup), then its ok to say anyone but murray.

The general public voted for idiots to run their society.
Those who did so, can not seriously complain.
Those who didnt vote for lab-lib-con’s councilours/mp’s, can point out what complete fools you were.
There is a positive alternative.
What you can do about it, is not allow them to waste your HARD EARNED money, at the ballot box, next time round, now.
A. Find out the quality of the candicy of councilours/mp’s.
B. QUESTION the quality.
C. Is it good enough???
If not,
D. Can you find a better candidate? YOU?
YOU decide YOUR future.

But there she was screaming through the centre of Paris hotly pursued by several motorcycles with ‘paparazzi’ photographers on them, cars and pedestrians all over the place (even in the early hours). Too many potential witnesses, too many observers.
Who told you that?
