I think that humour is a very personal thing. My own preference for comedy for example is dry humour with a bite ie MASH. For me, watching Fawlty towers or rising damp verged between boring and embarrassing!
I know that my own humour is often of the sarcastic nature and i do try to tone it down when i remember ( honestly, i do !).
It does annoy me , though, when someone says ” you havent got a sense of humour” when they mean ” your humour is different from mine”.
My own thread was meant lightheartedly and, having re read it, i dont see that it was offensive. Even cosy, ( who , as may be noted by a few, is not exactly a friend of mine) took it in that spirit and came back with a reply.
