But I work in a place where they display the threat level! I’ve tried asking if they’ll remove it and then put it back when I’ve gone home but no joy. Honestly, I go to work, do sweet FA but press the buttons on the toys the bookclub people leave to see what they do, drink Irn Bru and make the place look untidy and what do I get in return?!
Slayer, emma made a remark regrading the radical element in the UK. I merely stated that a similar remark had been made on FOX (though not from the news stations over here funnily enough) and that was it. A fleeting point in accordance with something that had been said.
Incidentally, some joker down the road is setting off fireworks (strange how they choose to do it tonight of all nights) and who cares? Not a soul considering the lack of fire engines or any other emergency service crew. I love it round here!
30 June, 2007 at 10:07 pm #274618Did I say I was ignoring what you say? I recall saying ‘I tend to’ and I don’t recall saying that you were that winker with an a in question either. Another example of reading into things only what you want to see.
And you still haven’t answered my question. I suggest you read the correspondence – properly – and have a think about it. Where would you be without a newbie to keep you right? I’ll make sure you get the hang of it.
Do you think there’s any chance they could reduce the threat level for a day or two? Just to humour me, then they can change it back on the quiet.
30 June, 2007 at 9:25 pm #274615No, the whole point of a quote (in any circumstances) is just to make a point, if you don’t agree then hard nuts. Until a law gets passed stating that we need to say everything with validation, then I for one shall not bother or care.
Anyway, not that I’ll be caring how you answer cos I tend to ignore winkers, how is it not relevant? I take it you have read all the correspondence and not just chose certain aspects that have unleashed the a**e in you?
30 June, 2007 at 7:44 pm #274609So if it’s their quote, why are you pointing it out to me? All I did was state that in response to something that emma said. Not my quote, not my place to answer to it. Email them.
According to one of the eyewitness, one of them was definetely shouting ‘Allah’ (or whatever it is) but he couldn’t be certain. Does that make sense to anyone? The guy was on fire. He could have been shouting ‘AARRGGHH!’

Funny you should say that – I was watching FOX news and the point was raised about why Britain seems to have this element of radicalism that other countries don’t.
I just hope that this isn’t the beginning of a chain reaction of these sort of events.
Err…I take it the 3 weeks of national riots across France last year by disenfranchised Muslim youths doesnt count or the Madrid train bombs?
We have an element because we (a very powerful christain country) invaded a weak Muslim country and we are still there, slowly assisting in the death of a nation- it isnt rocket science to see why fruitcakes pick on us
I said THESE sort of events, which, incase you missed what the post was about initially, revolved around the events in Glasgow.

At weekends my name is Samantha.
I take it you know that, in the midst of making a point, you contradicted yourself?
29 June, 2007 at 11:57 am #274490Actually, you’re the one who referred to white english people specifically as oppose to white people in general.
Just letting you know, okay?
29 June, 2007 at 11:47 am #274488‘White English people’ I see, so white Scottish people are fair game then?
28 June, 2007 at 12:18 pm #274454That was one of the early suggestions but then it was shot down as his actions were
too methodical to be ‘roid rage’ and the timeline on WWE.com with details of the correspondence he had with certain people backs that up.Now they seem to have changed their minds and reckon it could have been linked to steroids but perhaps not roid rage as such.
