Ok a complete moan about a high st shop….

I went into a certain clothes retailer on the high st and had a browse in their sale. I saw a belt on offer for £2.50 (a mahoosive bargain coz i needed a new belt) so I took it to the cashier.
I nearly always use my debit card to pay for purchases but as this was such a cheap item I had a tenner in my purse so I gave the cashier that.
She did her stuff and gave me £2.50 change…
Errr hang on I said… I gave you £10 – I know this as it is all I had in cash, and my mum witnessed it too and said yes she gave you a tenner…

This is where I got grrr…

    To which she replied..

‘I never make mistakes – you only gave me 5!!!!!!!’

GRRRR blood starting to boil now at her manner. I asked her to call her manager so she radio’s through and tells her manager I am saying I gave her 10 but she knows it was only a 5, implying I was trying to cheat them and the woman on the other end said tell her she will have to wait i am busy!

GRRRR blood about to burst out my temple now at cheek!

So I said – fine I will wait but while I am waiting could you give me HQ telephone number….
OOO how quick did manager come then!
Checked till and surprise surprise was 5 quid over…..
I took the girls name and HQ number…. cheeky bint won’t accuse me of trying to steal a fiver off her again.
I reported it to HQ and guess what they did… got the same tardy manager to bloody well phone me with an apology… I wanted some free vouchers tut!!!

So needless to say am rather pee’d off with whole situation but i did get my fiver back

It might only be a fiver but it was principle i tell theeeeeee!!!!

Those of us lucky enough not to have some form of an addiction should not allow it to make unfounded judgements on those who are in a less fortunate position than ourselves. No matter how they arrived unto that position.

God ultimately is our judge and jury and Amy will be with the Angels. No doubt about it.

    Edited coz of a brainfart.

I am having a crap few days..

I got a migraine half way through ladies day and had to come home early where I was promptly violently sick for most of the night…. yesterday was a blurr… i slept most of the day just waking up to pop pills in between with the odd sip of water. Today I am still headachey but it is easing with pills now whereas it didn’t before and the nausea is still there but at least I am managing to keep the odd rich tea biscuit down.

After 18 months of no migraines I thought they were a thing of the past. Apparently not

I only came online to check my bank stuff… i had a quick peep in here.. am going now before I make my noodle worse.

    Here endeth my moan.

Edited coz when I read it back it didn’t make sense at all.

not good today.. baby liam’s colic is pretty bad and the gripe water aint workin.

not good hunni, my little one had colic really bad, tried the gripe water, infacol etc, the only thing that worked for him was the colief drops, pretty expensive for the size of the bottle but once u know they work u can get them on prescription from the doctor…..hope he settles down soon xx

I used colief with my youngest… it predigests the lactose in the milk reducing the colic from what I can remember… I used that along side those special bottles which sort out the airflow and stop the baby gulping in air so much.
Colic is a b it ch… hope he overcomes it soon Will x

And with regard to the Payne incident…

Sarah Payne was not a preschooler as the McCann children were. There comes a time when you have to allow children to experience things which stretch the boundaries a little.
Jo frost said on tv the other day that the average 10 year old should now be allowed to go to the shop on an errand for their parents. I agree.

Lets face it even adults get abducted.

You don’t leave young children unattended.

I couldn’t put my children to bed and then wander off to the local shop (practically the same distance).

The list of things that could happen is endless… the room could catch fire, the child could choke, someone could abduct them….. it goes on.

It was a moment of sheer stupidity and where no one deserves to lose a child under any circumstances, but if they had been responsible parents and took their children out to dinner (as most people on holiday do) or had dinner in their room on the balcony (as is the other option) then their little girl would still be part of their family.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for the McCann family.

If she feels suicidal then that is the price you pay for being so selfish in the first place. When you have children you have to accept that your social life has to come second to their needs. They were wealthy enough to pay for a babysitting service. They should have.
