Don’t ever make soup with onions in and leave it on the hob to reheat later… i found out to my cost when my soup tasted a little sour and i got food poisoning within about 30 mins of eating it lol…. leeks all the way now!!!!!!!!

Scarlet fever is part of the streptococcus group of bacteria, the same group that cause bacterial menningitus. Have you ever heard of someone with a strep throat? Well basically scarlet fever is a strep throat which spreads into the skin, usually a throat infection that has gone septic. It can cause serious complications but penicillin usually sorts it.

My youngest had scarlet fever about a month ago! She was ill for about 4 days until the antibiotics kicked in!

I do lots of charity work for Marie Curie Cancer Care, including street collections, coordinating collection boxes in local businesses, etc,
My brother recently ran the great north run for their cause last month too.

It is a charity I am passionate about after the care they gave my Dad in their hospice and the dedication the marie curie nurses gave my Gran at home in their final days last year.

I also ran the race for life for Cancer Research last year!
