Anyone would put their foot down TBH if they saw sceptical crossing the road with the bible … send him on to the afterlife with the harps and angels would be an act of kindness .

Rude you’ve made your feelings perfectly clear , I don’t think we need a repeat here, come on, no need for cheap digs, lets not have another pissing contest …
21 March, 2018 at 1:01 am #1090173oh the sheer joy of hitting the virtually empty M58, after hours of stop start stop start on the M6, its one of my fave feelings, having the space and confidence to floor it if only for 15 minutes …. my dad told me all motorways were like that years ago, empty ( ish ) now they are so overloaded Not sure what the answer is tbh
21 March, 2018 at 12:53 am #1090165come on lets not get shitty lol yes women have less claims they don’t do over 30 lol I’m kidding and yes Ge i’ve done preston to stourport in less than 2 hours, well less, but it depends on the time, the M6 is more like the M25 these days and even in the outside lane you’re lucky to get over 70 mph its like a moving car park lol
sorry nothing to do with the shroud

21 March, 2018 at 12:37 am #1090152Yes I know, but would you go in one ? I know I wouldn’t lol I’m a terrible back seat driver as it is, I often say I drive like a man, now woahhhh what I mean is , and I know I’ll be shot down here but I have to be honest, I do a lot of driving , a lot ! personally I find women to be worst at driving. Sorry. They are more polite, give way more often, don’t pick their nose at traffic lights, etc but IMO they dither, and drive too slowly, ” shall I pull out..yes I will… no i’ll wait … oh I may pull out now …. oh no wait ….” as the driver behind who can also see what’ s coming I’ve often near ran into the back of them as it was obvious they had plenty of time to go …. drives me mad ! see what I did there ? to sum up IMO men are more reckless and aggressive and rude, but I feel the dithering and slowness of lady drivers causes frustration and rashness sorry girls !!!
maybe a different thread is needed lol

20 March, 2018 at 11:23 pm #109010920 March, 2018 at 9:03 pm #1090077In answer to Sceps above post directed at me.
I have re-read the whole thread and I don’t see any posts from me where I think I added or inflamed any poisonous atmosphere. I have not been rude to anyone ‘about’ their faith nor have I belittled anyone. I became angry when you described me as an ignorant character, as I was posting as a non believer and as you didn’t specifically name people I automatically fall into that category, so in fact you did infer I was ignorant and a ‘character’…..
I wasn’t ‘boiling up’ earlier I was trying to warn you as a friend that you were coming across as ‘ a snotty know all’ to which you replied that you were a snotty know it all, I presume in Jest.
”Fortunately you had the strength of character to apologise later, and I know that you have a tolerant approach to a faith in which you have no belief.”
I haven’t apologised to anyone actually, you presume to tell Nemesis how to handle herself, I’m sure there is no need as it is perfectly obvious Nem can speak for herself ( not helping with the arrogant and patronising tone IMO )
”But this thread has been characterised by really ignorant behaviour in a different way.” Including your own behaviour in some parts.
I’m not saying that some posters haven’t been scathing or rude about your religion, but just as you try to point out that not all ‘believers’ are blithering idiots, not all non believers are dismissive and rude.
I do find it odd now that Easter has suddenly been mentioned ! Its almost as if you are saying the subject should not now be discussed as its a very sacred time for Christians. I completely understand that its a special time for some, but you were happy to discuss it yesterday ? !
I’ll be perfectly honest, Easter didn’t cross my mind for 1 second and I think if you are honest with yourself it didn’t cross your mind, with regards to this debate, until today, nor anyone else posting on this thread, for that matter, or why has it only just been mentioned ? Easter means nothing to me at all, its never been celebrated in anyway shape or form in my family and I don’t ‘do’ chocolate. I think adding it in as a sort of ‘telling off’ was a bit childish on your part, but hey… no point in sweating the small stuff……
As I said earlier , the Topic of this debate will never be resolved and therefore moot, so I’m saying no more on it or responding to anymore posts, good or bad.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your ‘Easter’ in which ever way you celebrate it…
