Incidently Linda, just for your knowledge and not meant in any argumentative way, but, most of the biggest, university based teaching hospitals are NHS hospitals. NHS does not equal poor, it is merely the way this country is able to provide excellent medical care to all freely to everyone who needs it and paid for through taxation, not without its problems, but still one of the best health services in the world which we should be very grateful for !!

yes smoking is a bad and nasty habit which puts others health at risk ‘ if in close proximity to the smoke ‘

vaping does not produce toxic smoke !! It produces vapour much like steam !! It may contain vegetable oil extracts , many of which are contained in thousands of food products ! Yes, in 30 years time we may or may not find issues, a few cases ‘ may’ already be linked. MAY !! Compared to the millions of people dying through tobacco smoke , firstly or secondary, it means nothing. It’s a drop in the ocean. You just get people who love to moan ! “ oh I had to walk thru a small amount of vanilla smelling cloud ! It’s outrageous !!”  Oh wind your necks in! If it saves thousands of lives from lung cancer it’s a step forward.  Get off your soap boxes. None of you are perfect !!!

They were told after Grenfell the cladding was diff and would be fine !

What kills you Soph is the new build has to have staff maintaining what’s in there! There are MRI and CT scanners plus tons of other state of the art equipment already installed and of course it has to be meticulously maintained on a daily basis just like the rest of the build, millions of pounds worth , just sat there, not a patient in sight !! so 2 sets of staff 1 set of patients ! Just madness !!

If  it’s not getting any attention it has a wee tantrum, in a 7 year olds style !!

Sophs, did you know it’s been decided they now have to remove the cladding on the new build despite being told at first it was ok ? More money and time wasted. Such a shame

sorry I just don’t understand your  point ? If there is a life form in a different galaxy what does what it would eat  become relevant ? How it survives or gets energy is surely a separate and mind boggling question. I doubt all ‘life forms ‘ need chicken, subways, veggies, and a chippy tea every Friday night ? !! 😁😂🤣 lol just pulling your leg xx, The further you delve the more mind blowing it becomes !!

As far as ‘ Life out there ‘ on the boards goes….,

I’ve had unexpected surgery,  major(ish) if not addressed but nothing mind blowing.

Terrible patient, I’ve still got almost a week until my sick note runs out and I’m soooo  ready to get back to work !!

Well…. my normal anyway !!

Must also say, although the Royal in Liverpool is dilapidated and still waiting to move into the new building, the specialised  units and standard of care was outstanding !! and TRUST ME I DO NOT SAY THAT LIGHTLY !!
