I agree with all you have said regarding unions Ruby…. but the strike is not about whether or not you appreciate them… which as a northern working class lass I obviously do. I dont agree with the strikes though I think that public sector workers get a good deal as it is.

Ive worked for the public and private sector and Ive also been self employed, and in my view people in the public sector are higher paid, work shorter hours, get longer holidays and far far better pensions.

There is only so much money in the pot and I think those people going on strike in my opinion are wanting more than their fair share. i support the Union movement… but that does not mean I have to support this strike…. and I dislike feeling apprehensive for daring to say it.

Car insurance is the worst… I always get cheaper quotes.. then go back to my insurers and they match the cheaper quote… makes me so mad :evil:

Whatever happened to looking after your regular customers? Some people must just pay the inflated renewal prices…. its immoral really :evil:
