anc, funny how you can afford £100 to fix your PC whereas a few weeks ago you were saying you were freezing as you cannot afford to heat your house.
Did you pay AVG in logs?

How about unistalling java and re-installing it?
You may also get a bar come across your browser which you can click and say allow active x.

Microsoft’s number is 0800 107 1175 – again, they won’t help unless you are a paying member!! So personally, I wouldn’t bother with these. I only got the number from AVG because it is impossible to get it through their web-site!
