i think the term “normal” was used as the national average for suicides (of this age group) per 100,000 is 15. The Bridgend area has 115,000 people in it so 17 suicides in 12 months is “normal”- doesnt make it any easier for the relatives to deal but there does not appear to be any “death cult” going on.
What i think the police at least were getting at is simple- the media are making a circus (see front page of todays Sun) out of a very tragic, but not extraordinary situation, which could be reflected virtually anywhere in the UK

Try finding out how many LITRES of water it takes to produce ONE litre bottle of water (I’ll give you a clue..it’s 7 litres)
Thats why they should be banned…7 litres of water used to produce 1 litre of bottled water. Abso fecking lutely barking.

Miss Bushy is having a duck fit cos people have to smoke outside the bingo hall and not in it and its cold outside!
How the feck do they get to the bingo hall before “play” begins…by teleportation? Having one fag outisde isnt going to make any difference when they’ve already travelled to the bingo in the cold..jeez
Bingo lasts 2 hours..people go to socialise and for a bit of fun and entertainment, not to smoke ffs

why would I want to be such a “fascist” as to wish you banned
Finally someone explains the 41% who want me banned as being fascists.
…and folk call what believe in, fascism, hmm
N thats why you’ll never be banned- a total lack of appreciation of irony makes you very very entertaining
17 February, 2008 at 7:01 am #312801I had it lots of times yesterday (note it wasnt just “Cleanator” but another one too but didnt get the name)

Forcing smokers to apply for a £10 permit to buy cigarettes wont make a blind bit of difference. Smokers fork out a fiver a packet daily, whats a tenner to these people?
It is designed to reduce smoking in those under age and under 21- ultimately it will put some older smokers off too
You have a license to watch TV, a license to drive your car- why not have a license for something which is recognisably dangerous to your health and those around you

The only crumb of comfort I took from this case was the Justice system actually getting something right
His sentence was life imprisonment with NO release…ever
He’d be better receiving a capital punishment but we can’t do that so finally a sentence which fit- only way out is in a box- scum of the earth- lets hope he’s let loose in a general wing first before he gets his solitary protection
In this case Slayer yes, he did receive the correct sentence and as the judge said, he should never be released, it is only tho, a recommendation, and theres always the possibility that he will be. Lets hope as you say, that he’s let loose in a general wing before he gets his solitary protection.I read also in the paper today, a similar thing happening to a young baby, not far from me in fact, in Rainham, in Essex. Once again the baby died because the moron in whose charge he was left, couldn’t handle him crying, poor little soul, he’s in a place now where no one else can ever harm him. The perpetrator in this case though, received a sentence of only 3 years, the judge said that it was the maximum he could hand down, although he wasn’t happy doing it, if he had his way, it would have been a lot longer. The father of the child who died, called out to this animal as he was led away, that he himself can wait the 3 years because when it was up, he would be a dead man!!
Cas- I read this too- someone somehwere allowed him to plead guilty to manslaughter instead of facing a murder charge and hey presto, 3 years n not life
Total and utter disgrace

16 February, 2008 at 9:17 am #312041She was on BNP wives (or some other Sky TV prog)- it was either this woman (or one of the others) who wouldnt condemn Hitler and wouldnt even agree we were right to go to war with Hitler..nor would she agree about the 6 million Jews who died in the Holocaust (then again neither does Emma  )- she thought some died but felt 6 million was way too many
Indeed Wasp, the BNP supporters are honest in what they stand for
In fact I’ve said several times before, if the BNP got rid of polices based on the colour of your skin and your creed then the rest of their policies will stand up to the rest of the other parties in terms of scrutiny and comparison- until such time, they’ll be a bit part, second rate party, ridiculed for anachronistic and laughable policies and right wing bias

The synod is going to ask the Archbishop to resign. What the hell happened to free speech???!!!
Nothing has happened to free speech- indeed this is a fine example of someone saying what they believe and being free to say it
BUT no one can be that naive as to fail to understand free speech does NOT mean free from ramifications about what you say nor does it mean free to say whatever you want without challenge
We are all free to say what we like BUT we all accept the conseuqences of our free speech and the content of that freedom
After all, I couldnt say here – “I like to have sex with animals” without some form of condemnation etc BUT I’m perfectly free to say it
