The captured men over the weekend involving the attack in Glasgow and attempted attacks in London, are not british born.
Whether you agree with our foreign policy or not, whether you think we should pull our troops out of irag or not, is it now time to close our borders to stop anymore non british born terrorists into our country?
You sound jus like BNP Emma- full of soundbites that the uneducated follow.
So tell me- how does this work
W close our borders to….? Jus Muslims? My passport doesnt state religion affinity so how do you identify a Muslim (1% of Iranians are christian for example)…do we jus say if you come from country “X”, you cant come in?
What about white Muslims in the rest of the world? How do you stop them? Or do we close our borders to every single other country in the world? And then what would we do with our £10 billion pound deficit created by the lack of any foriegn tourists? and the millions more unemployed?
Great soundbite answer Emma- “close our borders” but with absolutely no thought about how it would work? So tell me Emma, how do you close your borders to the whole world?

7) Be arrogant, supercilious, patronising and an eternal pessimist
You work, you pay taxes- fact of life, get used to it.
I’ll dont get a paltry rate of interest at all, if you know how to use and invest money, the returns can be very satisfying :D – you can also ensure all your money stays in the “family” and ensure the state (ie your taxes) pay for my old age. It isnt difficult
Democracy can be a funny thing cant it- but so can any other form of electoral reform- vote BNP? Vote MRLP? Vote Ukip? Choice is there but you do the electorate a dissrevice in presuming they cant see past the two main parties- they can, but they arent appealing enough (yet)
I’ve read several of your comments which appear to do nothing but complain about the state of the country (which of course is naturally your right)- if it really is in such an appalling state perhaps its time for you to consider a life changing move to another country which floats your boat.
Me- I’ll stay in the best country in the world- it aint perfect, it can be frustrating but it can also be glorious- Ive travelled around the world and, with the exception of one other country, havent found any where that comes close to the UK.
Respect and self esteem? Choice is yours but simple respect and self esteem, has got me virtually anything over the years- a job, mates, sex (a bit of self esteem always goes down well with the ladies  ),
Its all about being slightly streetwise- no one has ever wiped their feet on me yet…n if they do, I’ll leave a bad smell on their shoe- n if they do…so what? It aint the end of the world is it really- so your scammed by a scrote for a tenner, someone nicks your bike, someone cheats on ya etc etc- it aint so bad really
Chill out, relax and enjoy life- let your glass be half full not half empty- life is for living and your only here the once
So much angst- you’ll be dead by the time your 65 if you dont slow down and be positive!

Not so fanatical that they want to go to heaven in a blazing car then
1 July, 2007 at 7:10 am #274628So why wait DoA?
Airports etc have had ramped up security for over 2 years- why wait to attack a hospital or school? Why not now? Why not Glasgow Royal Infirmary? Why the airport then?
1 July, 2007 at 6:13 am #274626Ive read they’ve already arrested two more people in connection
As I said before, it does only take one chance but it all seems very ill conceived, poorly planned and they didnt even want to die in the burning car (which more than anything else made me smile…they werent ready to die for their “cause” which shows a distinct lack of radicalism and a distinct case of cowardice). Very “back of a fag packet” IMO
So MI5 have lots of new leads, there will be more arrests- it would be interesting to see why they chose Scotland (as opposed to Wales or NI)- maybe there wasnt any logic there either.

30 June, 2007 at 10:15 pm #274619It still reads the same to me but all roads lead to Rome
as for reducing the threat level…nah, they’ll keep it where it is for a while but tbh no one really takes much notice of it, day in day out. Its events that make people sit up and take notice- like today (ironically less of a threat but more of an image because of the pictures- guarranteed front page of every sunday newspaper tomorrow)

No, the whole point of a quote (in any circumstances) is just to make a point, if you don’t agree then hard nuts. Until a law gets passed stating that we need to say everything with validation, then I for one shall not bother or care.
Anyway, not that I’ll be caring how you answer cos I tend to ignore winkers, how is it not relevant? I take it you have read all the correspondence and not just chose certain aspects that have unleashed the a**e in you?
For someone who is ignoring what I say, you seem to be going to a lot of trouble to say it.
You seem to forget this a debating forum, its nothing to do with hard (or soft) nuts, its to do with apposite and opposite views.
You’re new…you’ll soon get the hang of it

So if it’s their quote, why are you pointing it out to me? All I did was state that in response to something that emma said. Not my quote, not my place to answer to it. Email them.
According to one of the eyewitness, one of them was definetely shouting ‘Allah’ (or whatever it is) but he couldn’t be certain. Does that make sense to anyone? The guy was on fire. He could have been shouting ‘AARRGGHH!’
Errr, isnt the whole point of a quote (in these circumstances) that either you support the view or it substantiates the point you are making.
To post a quote as only part of a whole post and the quote have nothing to do with what you are posting seems rather silly :D
