    errrr…..what you actually said was

“but if they had drawn it wouldnt have gone to the tories or there would have been riots in the streets”

As i said, why should a democratic process result in a riot unless those rioting believe they have some god given right to be elected or refuse to accept the other candidates votes. So BNP supporters would have rioted…lol, good to see some things dont change

Upto a week before the local elections, the Borough of Broxbourne started a pilot scheme for residents to vote upto a week before May 3rd.

The BNP stood 9 candidates there, not one of them were elected. They all managed to get a successfull percentaged, but is it a bit weird that employees of the council can hold onto peoples votes in such a way?

    Massive potential for vote fraud.

I thought that the welsh people hated the english as well. dont they burn down holiday homes and only speak in welsh if english people enter a pub or shop etc ?? or was i dreaming when it happened to my husband and his mate when they had to work in wales for a fortnight…
actuallt i can understand the holday home part of it as most young couples cant afford to buy homes in their own towns but then again neither can young folk afford to buy in our home village thanks to people from london buying here.

So you tar an entire country with the actions of a few extremists..in south wales, they’re more English than some of us, in North Wales, they value their welsh heritage to a greater extent.

Only 10% of the welsh can speak welsh- your husband must have been unlucky

that is utterly disgusting… i cant think of anything more stupid …
they should have called a tie with both candidates. and a re vote if necessary ??? why did they get away with this…
in kirklees the bnp were only just over a hundred votes behind the tories but if they had drawn it wouldnt have gone to the tories or there would have been riots in the streets.
sureley there is a law to stop this kind of thing ??? anyone know of any…

    :? :?

So the electorate that chose to vote Tory dont count then Wasp- how very undemocratic of you

The BNP came SECOND, they didnt win, they didnt get elected, its called democracy, get used to it :)

    Emma

nationalism in wales is nowhere near as pronounced or forward as it is in scotland- wales has been part of the union for centuries longer than scotland and we have stronger ties.

Emma- I may be very immoral sometimes but unethical Im not

As for the BNP, my view on them has nothing to do with a dictionary or a pedantic point- its my view and I’ll stick to it

As for the SNP- you’re right, the SCots wouldnt vote for an English SNP leader BUT the SNP includes and welcomes, AS EQUALS, all Scots of all races, creeds and colours AND does not have a policy of repatriating any Englishman back to England, voluntary or otherwise, does not say that a Scotswoman marrying an Englishman is wrong, and does not seek to single out white scotsman as superior over all other scots.

The SNP are the biggest party in Scotland, the BNP are….. well, the BNP are where they are. Perhaps they should think about that!

Newcastle will be in Europe next year….if there’s a war

A team isnt built over night, not even with Russian millions

The team they have currently sint good enough for a top 6 spot so they’ll be a mid table giant until then.

Perhaps we all should read the BNP website- you’d think they’d just won the cup and out performed everyone else.

It’s good for a laugh…having said that so is the Labour and Liberal website too at the moment.

Much of middle England (both geographically and financially) have, after 15 years, realised it is “ok” to vote Tory once again.

If I were an incoming prime minister, I’d be very very worried.

I only crossed swords with JA in the quizzes n he seemed a decent bloke (n bally clever too) so as someone who didnt know him except throught the quiz, it will be a sad loss to JC.

Condolences to his family and friends and may his god go with him
